Where does pac go after Clottey....
If he loses I think he'll go for a fight with Valero.....
If he wins he'll try and negotiate with mayweather again, failing that he might try and get a fight with mosely, all depending on the out come of that fight.
He may also go back to looking at yuri foreman.
Of course in both senarios retirement is an option.....

Re: Where does pac go after Clottey....
Mayweather if he wins and negotiation go well,
If he loses or neg go sour with floyd then Marquez, he deserves another shot at pac in my opinion.

Re: Where does pac go after Clottey....
Hopefully Mayweather or Mosley. I would like him to go through with the drug testing if it is against Mayweather and it would be great to see Mosley pressing for drugs testing too if he gets the win, but I'm not so sure Mosley really cares all that much about testing.

Re: Where does pac go after Clottey....
Against the Winner of Mayweather-Moseley, boosting the promotion stating that he might well retire, trumpeting as loud as possible that he has nothing to prove anymore and depending also of Mayweather's need for money at this moment, the fight might happen or not.

Re: Where does pac go after Clottey....
He should fight the winner of Mosley or Mayweather, if not then Yuri Foreman for an unprecedented 8th title.

Re: Where does pac go after Clottey....
After the Clottey fight win, lose, or draw he goes and performs Johnny B. Goode on stage in 1 of his concerts like Michael J. Fox.

Pacquiao already said Foreman was too big.

by the time Pacquiao would be able to fight Foreman, Yuri most likely wont have the belt any longer, cause IMO Cotto is gonna smash him

Re: Where does pac go after Clottey....
I believe Mayweather is the best option. Mosley, if he wins, would not be viable because of that rematch clause with Floyd. I don't think Floyd would allow Shane to fight Manny without them going through that rematch.
Marquez should not be considered anymore. Manny is already fighting in the 147 lb weight division and we know how JMM did in this division.
If the Mayweather fight cannot be made, then Manny can retire or try for a final legacy to get his 8th weight division title by challenging the light-middleweight champion, Yuri Foreman (or Miguel Cotto again, if he wins).

Re: Where does pac go after Clottey....
I'm gonna say it again: I don't see a Mayweather-Pacquiao fight happening. Thus, if Mayweather wins, Pacquiao will look to other options. If Mosley wins, there isn't anyone else worth mentioning as an opponent. I agree with El Terrible that Cotto should beat Foreman although smashing him is a big statement given that he put Cotto's fellow countryman down twice a few months ago, he has a distinct size advantage over Cotto, and Foreman fights very smart. I see Cotto bloodying Foreman up in a close but distinct decision victory. Anyway, Foreman isn't an option. All that said, although I don't like the idea of the guy getting paid, assuming Mayweather wins, a Margarito fight wouldn't be a bad move or maybe Marquez at 140?

what does Santos being from PR have to do with anything? IMO Foreman doesn't have the power to hurt Cotto, hell if Santos didn't kill himself to make weight he wouldn't have put him down either, when a guy blows up 17 lbs over night it pretty much gives you a clear picture of how their training camp went

Not sure if Mosley would really care considering he's on his way out and fighting Pac can be his las big paycheck, probably his biggest ever. Most guys won't care if Pac stuffs himself with all kinds of PEDs, roids, drugs, etc. as long as they get paid their biggest paycheck.

Re: Where does pac go after Clottey....
I'd hazard a guess that If it were down to Arum, he'd be in with either Margarito or Foreman for sure. I think the Pac camp will want to steer well clear of the winner of PBF - Mosley fight. Winner of PBF - Mosley will end up fighting winner of Berto - Quintana so Pac will keep it in-house for Arum....

I don't see it like that. I see it as Pacquiao won't give in to the drug testing demand of Mayweather and thus that fight won't ever happen, but Mosley has said he won't make the same requests and thus that fight could easily happen.

Agree; Cotto should have Foreman title by that time, and I don't think there will be a rematch with Cotto. Therefore, 154 are not likely to be an option.
First, Pacman had to make sure he beats Clottey and I don't think this will be an easy task. Floyd also has his hands full with Mosley. Man, both (Floyd and Pacman) had chances of receiving the big surprise...
I Pac, Floyd and Berto win, there may be a Berto - Pacman fight.
I also think Valero will do what it takes to fight Pacman. But, after all this debate, Pacman can also choose politics and say goodbye to boxing, and he has the perfect excuse with all this drug test issues. Only the time will tell...

Re: Where does pac go after Clottey....
Pavlik at 151.75 lb catchweight.

Re: Where does pac go after Clottey....
I don't see mosley or mayweather fight happening because of the rematch clause in their contract. If mosley wins he'll be occupied for the rest of the year. I don't see him fighting mayweather either since either side is not going to back down on the drug testing protocols. It's a losing year for the boxing fan. :-\

Re: Where does pac go after Clottey....
Mayweather will beat Mosley and Pacman will beat Clottey, they can play all the games they want, boxing needs this fight to happen this year and i beileve it will. The question is what will both of them do when they win their respective fights? My answer is they will fight September or October.

Although I haven't seen the contract, I assume that the rematch clause might only apply if Shane wins. Since Floyd can dictate the terms, why would he include the rematch clause if he's the victor? That would prevent him from pursuing a megafight with Manny.
If they win their respective matches, I believe the term for the blood test will be easier to negotiate. Floyd may gain confidence from the victory that he might agree to the 24 days cut off and Manny is down to his last fight before he retires that he might agree to the 14 days cut off. As long as they keep the purse split at 50/50, then we'll have a fight.

Re: Where does pac go after Clottey....
Funny as all hell if Clottey pulls this off, which is not at all out of the question. This is essentially a stay busy fight while he 'waits' for Mayweather (is he really)...can be the most dangerous kind.

What I meant was the potential for the fight would be unlikely if Mosley wins or loses. The contract would keep Mosley from fighting pac. I doubt there would be much interest in fighting Mosley if he lost and I really don't see how negotiations with Mayweather would change since they fell apart the first time with a 10 day gap.

Good post. In addition, if Floyd beats Mosley he'll want (and deserve) better than a 50-50 split. If Mosley wins, he'll fight Floyd again, which ties him up for the rest of the year. I bet Pac fights Margarito or Valero.
