The Best Mayweather-Mosley Promo
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-IVp1wVEZhU
It's short & sweet, but really sells the fight & refreshingly for one of these seems to take a neutral standpoint. It also made me think that both these guys might have been saying all they have to try & sell the fight better from before the Marquez fight.
Anyway excellent vid, enjoy
* Sorry for another Mayweather-Mosley thread, but this vid was too awesome.
Re: The Best Mayweather-Mosley Promo out there right
Yeh I agree its defo to promote the fight better for sure after all Mayweather himself quoted that '' only he can get 30 / 40 mil per fight '' so it all boils down to that at the end of the day but fair play to him and cant wait for the fight.
Re: The Best Mayweather-Mosley Promo out there right
amazing promo
Even tough i know its gonna be a 12round yawnfest even i cant but help get excited about this

Re: The Best Mayweather-Mosley Promo
Very good promo and sells the fight well. Heck it's almost got me thinking that it's a 50/50 fight......
Nah I'm lying... :p;D
Re: The Best Mayweather-Mosley Promo
I simply cannot doubt Mayweather's ability... It seriously pi$$es me off though that he's taking Mosley this late in Mosley's career..
I hope Mosley smashes him into smithereens but Mayweather is just to good period... Can't doubt him for a second...
I hope Mosley enters the ring thinking about every day that Mayweather could have called him up throughout his career and said "let's f'n do this".. But it took Mosley getting so old, and no one left for Mayweather to fight after Pac went through that could make him some money, than to get in with Mosley finally now..
So think about that Mosley.. Bring your walking stick and tuck it in your trunks if you have to, but find a way to bat that little bastard back to planet earth..

Blah blah blah blahhhh...and I hope Mayweather remembers the times he called Mosley out when they were BOTH IN THEIR primes and Mosley complained of toothache, he needed a vacation etc etc.
Selective hating going on again... ;)
This promo video is AWESOME..This guy has definitely got some skills in video editing. If he hasn't got a pretty high profile job doing what he does, he should have pretty soon!

Polly want a cracker?
There has been no video or transcript proof that PBF has EVER called shane out at any point of their career, only heresay started by the floyd camp and blown up by his tunnel vision fans. In fact the two serious times they were ever mentioned in fighting each other were back in 1999 when shane was P4P 1 and floyd was fighter of the year, and that was just hypothetical by the sports writers. The other time was after shane kayoed Vargas and only merchant asked shane, not once the did floyd publically say he wanted to fight shane.
Nevertheless Floyd should win because he's waited until shane is 38...earlier floyd would have been stopped inside of 10...

LOL!!!!! If that's considered calling someone out Then everybody calls out everybody...He basically named every fighter within reaching distance...
What shane did to him after the marquez fight is calling out a specific fighter, not generalized fighter "take on everybody" talk...

He mentions four fighters. So to 'call someone out' in your book you have to burst into the ring post-fight?
The fact is he called him out. I don't see how you can dispute it, he said clearly he wanted to fight him along with De La Hoya & Gatti (both of whom he fought) & Tszyu. That's not 'take on everybody' talk, that's pretty specific, I could agree with you if he said I'll fight anyone, but he said only four fighters.

Well first off in the first video he did not call out Gatti or Tszyu....He just stated they were there to fight and implicated they were the best money wise in the 140 lb division at that time.....Funny thing is he choose the 2 most shot fighters of the division.....
In the second video he was made an ass of because he contradicted himself......
Can't be ok for Floyd to do the same thing other fighters do but when dont to him he doesn't like it.....
There is no need to really debate the whole Manny Vs Floyd Vs Shane thing in truth....Floyd Vs Shane will happen so we will find out the way that plays out but as far as Manny not answering Floyd well why did Floyd not fight Williams, Margarito, Cotto etc when he was WW champion?
Answer...They were all dangerous and he was not willing to step in the ring with them,,,,,But he was willing to step in with DLH for the fact DLH meant money and DLH was fading.....Why not Cotto? Well Cotto was beating the shit out of everyone....Margarito regardless of what was going on behind the scenes had a cast iron chin..Never stopped coming forward and was dangerous....Williams....Well he had/has a tremendous punch output beat one of the three men he had been avoiding and he was big and strong with great boxing skills..
But was/is OK for Floyd?
Explain this how?

Doesn't make sense to say he called him out then, but then up until pacman deciding not to blood test, floyd always dismissed shane as the guy with five losses...funny thing is in that video shane had four losses and was still at 154 but he was calling him out? Perhaps the mentioning of shane's name was because he had just lost four fights and looked done.
And if you name the top guys of the divisions you can fight in...gatti, tyzsu, SSM and oscar? Who else was there for him to fight or name? He was looking to do exactly what he was accusing shane of doing which was make money off someone else's name. Because in that video he was not a pay per view attraction in slightest...Mosely and Oscar were the biggest names he could reasonably fight.
And YES, calling someone out is exactly what shane did, much like tarver did to roy jones. Only one name until you get that guy in the ring...

Spot on....I mean really other then the names he mentioned who was there really to fight that could have been a draw?...I mean seems he was speaking more on the terms of making high profile bouts rather then actually calling anyone out...
Never did he say at all I WANT DLH/Mosley/Gatti/Tszyu...he just stated they might be the next fights he would be up for in the future.....
Hell who within 2 weight classes of DLH has not expressed desire to face him in the ring?...Fighting DLH was almost a guaranteed all time career high payday......
Shane on the other hand called Floyfd out and mentioned he wanted Flyd more then one time...For Mosley to get in the ring and interrupt and interview shows what Mosley really wants....Mosley is not a glory hound or attention hound where he disrespects other fighters in public so that alone should speak volumes

it ain't Mayweather's fault that he is fighting Mosley now. Mosley could have fought him 2 times already and didn't take it.
I'm glad the fight is happening but lets not turn it into "He should have fought Mosley earlier"
The person whose at fault that they didn't fight earlier is Mosley, not Mayweather.
Re: The Best Mayweather-Mosley Promo
Great stuff. I'll settle for the fight being a 1/4 of that.
Those Gorrila productions vids are seriously impressive

Actually what Mosley did and what Mayweather did are two VERY different things.
There's very different things here in the situations. Which I shall explain to you.
What Shane is doing now which is the same thing I've been saying he is doing, is looking for one final payday to go off into the sunset on.
Mayweather does have a claim to that because he called Shane out when they WERE in their primes. But Mosley pulled the same game that people accused Mayweather of not saying he was a draw. He called Mosley out again around the time Mosley beat Vargas and Mosley didn't take it. And now that he is nearing the end of his career he wants to fight Mayweather?
I said that Mosley was looking at one last payday against Mayweather. Then people said "Oh he wants to fight everyone, it's proven cause he fights Berto and is giving him a chance" But you neglect that Mosley said that if a fight with Mayweather could be made he WOULDN'T fight Berto. Funny how people forget that. Mosley is nearing the end of his career and he is looking for one LAST HUGE payday to go off into the sunset on and retire. And that name right now is Mayweather or Pacquiao. So Mayweather is right when he says Mosley is going to make a claim off of a name, which is true, but heck even Hopkins is doing that now, fighters do that at the end of their career for a final payday Mosley isn't the first and he won't be the last. But the thing people ignore is that Mayweather IS right when he says it. Mosley had ample opportunities to fight Floyd when he was in a prime or close to it, but he chose not to, and only chased Floyd when he neared the end of his career and wanted a final payday win or lose that doesn't detriment his career because it ain't gonna last much longer instead of in his prime where a loss to Mayweather would have.
Now you CAN NOT call what Floyd did in those post fight interviews as the same thing Mosley did. Floyd has called out these guys when they WERE in their primes. And before you say that he wanted Tszyu, gatti, DLH, Mosley near the end of their careers, he'd been calling out Mosley since he first beat Hernandez, and talked about wanting to fight the winner of Casamayor vs Freitas, or Prince Naseem after he beat Corrales. And he had been talking about fighting Tszyu since he beat Jesus Chavez. Neither of those fighters were shot at the time he called them out now were they? That's calling fighters out. he called those fighters out at a time when they were primed, and at a time where IF they had beaten him it could have derailed his boxing career. He didn't wait until the twilight of his career to finally call out someone that isn't gonna derail his career win or lose cause he can retire with a big payday. He called those guys out BEFORE he was at that point in his career and that is NOT the same as what Mosley did with Floyd. Whether you want to try to single it as not your opinion of calling someone out it is what it is. And Mayweather even said at the Marquez presser "Go back and watch the Henry Bruseles interview or even the genaro Hernandez interview when I became 130 pound champion we tried to make the fight happen and he didn't want it. But now that he's got 5 losses and nearing the end of his career, now he wants to fight me." And thats basically what I'm saying here and it's true. No matter how you want to look at it. Mosley never wanted Floyd Mayweather until the end of his career, point blank.

In the great video age of fighting..if they have footage of Aaron pryor calling out SRL, surely all of the floyd blind fans can come up with a interview archive in which he is specifically calling him out, not generalized "i'll fight this guy and that guy" post fight nonsense. If you don't have the transcript or the video then its nothing more than recycled floyd camp hogwash..as it remains Shane went on ESPN and called floyd out, then got in the ring and called him out, period..both times floyd dismissed him as a sparring partner with five losses. When asked face to face about shane mosely by Max kellerman (who by the way also knew that as long as floyd was allowed to have solo interviews would continue to recycle that lie from long ago) Kellerman put shane in his face and floyd did exactly what he says pacman did. According to floyd's own logic he did not want to fight shane because he never said it, he deferred the idea to his handlers...
But I'll try to stop this discussion here because we are both going to discuss a pointless topic as they are scheduled to fight on may 1...
