I thought this fight got rearranged already to August?
Must be a serious injury to be postponed like 13 weeks before the fight.

To bad that was a good fight in the making. Maybe Alexander-Bradley happens now.
bradley vs alexander is the bigger fight at 140. make it a reality.
I think at least Bradley's side will want to build that up a little first. Alexander's people seem very confident they can beat Bradley, did these two fight as amateurs?
I don't think they fought as amateurs, Bradley has losses in the amateurs though to Andre Berto and Vanes Matirosyan. I don't believe he ever fought Alexander.
I hope this fight happens, Alexander is calling him out and I like him but I give the definite advantage to Bradley in that one.
Gutted that this fight is off man. I think it would have been a cert to be in top five FOTY list. When they do meet, they better have some well made gloves on....

I read the injury is bad enough that he can't even train or even travel. Being that this would have been his biggest ever payday. I just can't see this guy backing down from a fight like this because he's afraid. Just look at the Ortiz fight.

It wasn't short notice Maidana was the number 1 the fight was not a short notice fight.
I've seen the Kotelnik fight and he didn't look his usual gung-ho self. Can't remember if I had him infront or not, but would be hard for me to judge failry as I think Maidana is great and don't think much on Kotlenik.
From what I remember though it was a close call and I prob had Maidana infront
