Worst heavyweight champion of all time

i think its abt time we find out who is the worst i was thinking that every week i will post 2 previous heavyweight champions (based on WBC WBA WBO IBF Titles) & we vote who was worst, we can base this on who they beat for title (if they did actually fight anyone) & who they defended agianst (remembering who was available to fight who they didnt). & anyother reasons u guys can think of?

remember we are only voting tham based on being heavyweight champion

beat oleg maskaev in 6th round after ref jumped in
defences
lost a unaminous decision against wladmir klitscko but did put wlad on hsi backside on 3 occasions

peter's fight with wlad wasn't for the title, it was title eliminator, if i am not mistaken. He beat Maskaev to win the WBC title and then lost to VITALY in his first title defense

anyway, my vote goes for akinwande.

henry akinwande's rein was prior to the WBO being considered a legitimate heavyweight title by the public . You might as well pick WBF or IBA champions.

Akinwandes only real crime was absolutely shitting himself against Lennox. He'd have jabbed Peter the fat plodder to bits.. on the bridle.

I think Sam Peter's only real fault is holding a title at a time when there were more boxers and boxer/punchers just like if Golota hit his prime in the mid-late 00's he would have been a lot better off but he ran into more rugged fighters.

Sam Peter just ran into Vitali...not his fault, although him being virtually obese didn't help his cause. At one point in time Sam Peter maybe was the #2-3 heavyweight in the world at one point in time and deservedly so....can we say that (without laughing) about Henry Akinwande?

I'd say that giant evolutionary chart come to life Valuev worse than Sanders.Namely because he gave Ruiz a couple of chances to be hvy champion and the fact he was horrific.He lost to Holyfield and fought like he was in awe of him.Sanders had great hand speed and power to hurt many hvys and I think his cell block ownage of Wlad takes it.Quality over quantity.

Agreed that since he beat Wlad, it has to be better than anything valuev has ever done, he shook Vitali as well.

Why are we counting WBO titlists as heavyweight champions ?

I'm sorry but I've never really considered them heavyweight champs.

Even Mercer and Morrison and I liked those two a lot.

I'd say that recently the WBO title holders have been far better than the WBA title holders...not because of current title holders, just looking at who's been more impressive and who's fought better opposition.

If you are talking all time worst then Primo Carnera was your man He lost the title to Max Baer hitting the canvas 11 times. He was as tall or 1inch shorter than another bad champion, Valuev. That fight couldn't happen because Prom died. He won the title with his feet. He kept the on top Of Jack Sharkey"s toes. It was so clumsy of him that he wsn't penalized.

i gotta say i have a soft spot for bentt, i was completely shocked when he beat morrison in 90 seconds, i stayed up all night for that fight & couldnt sleep afterwards cos i was that pumped up, plus he came over to the uk to hype himself up on british tv, then there was the scuffle in the street with herbie hide.

Probabaly the first! I mean both shit but Bentt has the bragging rights on beating Morrison. Then againn he was useless against Hide! Plus would he have won the fight if the 3 knockdown wasn't in effect? possibly but still! On the flipside, Pacquiao vs Marquez I would have been over in the first round if that rule was going. What a waste that would have been!
