A real good fight. And believe it will good the full 12 rounds. Maybe a better fight then Kessler vs Froch fight. Just to long of gaps between fights.
Who do you think would get the decision?
Froch by UD
Do you reckon he will have a hard time? I mean he a tough bloke with good skills
I think it's going to be a great fight. Johnson is never in a bad fight, and he always brings it. I think Froch will win by close decision.
Any knockdowns?
seeing how good Johnson looked last time out i give him a good shot, but Froch looked impressive against Abraham although IMO that was also due to how shitty Abraham looked, he didn't throw shit, basically reminded me of Pacquiao/Clottey, but i'd have to say Froch takes him by a competitive yet clear UD, though if Johnson is able to keep up his output and pressure Froch all night he could very well pull off the upset, i just wouldn't bet my house on it
Froch will win, both are too tough to be stopped but will get wobbled. I Think it will be a very good fight.
Froch decision in a tight one. And Johnson will grumble afterward about the verdict. Im very confident in both these predictions.
a hard fought UD for Froch I think. Johnson is world class and never fails to apply the pressure in the fight. The same with Carl, but his ability to box as proved in AA fight will be the difference I think. Definatly has the potential to be a great fight, but I think Carls a bit too much for him.
Pressure busts pipes and Johnson has to know he needs a KO vs Froch. After watching Glenn handle Roy Jones Jr. and take Cloud's shots I think he has a very good chance of beating anyone at 168, even Bute.
Froch is going to get a true test of his skills and intestinal fortitude that's all I know will happen, but I back Johnson.
ive seen johnson lose to a lot lesser fighters than froch
I think Froch will win by stoppage in around 9 or 10 rounds after an early war.
Could be fight of the year stuff.;D

but when chad dawson fought smart, he handled glenn. froch should watch that fight and do the exact same thing. it'll be a good fight, i imagine, will go the distance, and froch will get the win on the cards.Quote:

The pressure can force fighters to stand and fight, and I just question if Froch is dedicated to boxing smartly. Difference between Froch and Dawson is handspeed, footwork, quickness and unreal athleticism which Froch has none of the above.
Froch is tough and fit as a fiddle though with outstanding self belief and determination to go with thudding power.. I think Froch is there to be hit though and Glenn is a grinder with a granite chin with the tenacity and rage of a forest fire.. If Glen gets old overnight Froch peppers him if not it's easily fight of the year and a dream fight with outstanding style matchup.. I don't know who will win nor am I confident to predict either way
I don't disagree with any of that. I just meant that Chad can box and it turns out that so can Carl. Carl sticks that jab like he did with Abraham, he takes a decision against Glen.Quote:

Why put an obstacle in the way of that great fight?
Beacuse Froch has to fight Johnson and Ward an as yet unamed opponent there is a very good chance that the Ward Froch Super Six final might get derailed.
Stupid decision to even have this fight, but at least it will be entertaining.
Like most I expect Froch to win a tough but unanimous decision.
Beating Johnson who loses every time he steps up (albiet in close decisions) does nothing for Froch though. He shouldn't be fighting 40 year old men, he should be fighting Andre Ward.
