Another fight to prove the WBA belt is less than ibo and European. And especially as khan is fighting a non or not well ranked fighter, and everyone khan fan will get their tongues willingly brown where as froch fights the best and gets screwed because warren pays sky to ignore.

The public wanted to see him fight either Prescott or Murray.
Don't think I'll be parting with £15 for this one. I don't mind it as its just a stay busy fight before Bradley, but I don't have any interest in seeing it. Better opponent than Junior Witter I suppose

I am not interested in this fight. Peterson was a much better opponent IMO. No, just not into it at all. A big anti climax after Maidana. He better fight Bradley after this, October would be ideal. Maybe Bradley could get another warm up in between too to polish up his tools and see if he can have a clean fight with someone.
Not going to bother paying for this i don't think. Not a bad match up, but it's not worth £15.

It's a decent match up and a better draw imo then Peterson would have been. I've not actually seen Khan fight live plus it's my mate's birthday that weekend so thinking we may head up to Manchester and watch this.
No doubt a load of the Irish will come across the Irish Sea for this so should be a good atmosphere.
Don't bother, if Khan signed to fight Peterson Miles would have posted exactly the same. Unfortunately for poor miles he will never get the image of Khan smashing Barrera all over the shop out of his deluded mind.Quote:

No, not at all Fenster.
I prefer Peterson because he has more name recognition in the States, just drew with Ortiz and has fought Bradley before. If Bradley and Khan are to meet, it would be nice to see how they compare against a common opponent.
It's a fair enough fight IMO.

As the fight's in April I don't know what I'll be doing. I'm not paying to watch a fight I have no interest in though. I won't criticise Khan for his selection because he seems to be just fitting in another fight before he takes on Bradley. I'd have preferred Ortiz would have been a good opponent, as would Peterson. I don't think Khan would have had too much difficulty winning it but he's a solid all round fighter that might have extended Khan a bit. Witter would have been a shocking opponent. Like I said I'm not criticising Khan for this, but I just don't care enough to pay for it.Quote:

I'll take that. I'm not saying McCloskey is a crap fighter, but Khan is all wrong for him. McCloskey's style is to keep his hands low to trick the opponent, but Khan is so fast I can see it getting McCloskey in trouble early. I say Khan in 3.Quote:

He hasn't faced anyone even close to Khan's level. Khan is too fast and too good at the weight. If Khan had another 10 seconds against Maidana in that first round, he'd have got him out of there.
