It's a fair enough fight IMO.

    i could draw with ortiz
    In an IQ test?
victor is a bright boy, i meant in a fight tho, i do a bit of swimming
    Haha, you make me laugh!

I prefer Peterson too. Khan will finish McCloskey in 3, but I think It'd take longer with Peterson and I think Lamont could land a bit on Khan too. McCloskey will keep his hands low as always, and that will be a grave mistake against someone the speed of Khan.

Still, the more I think about it, he's an undefeated European Champion, and it's time for him to step up a level, so I'm not going to say he doesn't deserve a crack at it. Much better fight than Junior Witter for sure.

why wouldnt you pay for it? what are you gonna do instead?

id like to have seen him fight witter

much better opponent that peterson or ortiz
As the fight's in April I don't know what I'll be doing. I'm not paying to watch a fight I have no interest in though. I won't criticise Khan for his selection because he seems to be just fitting in another fight before he takes on Bradley. I'd have preferred Ortiz would have been a good opponent, as would Peterson. I don't think Khan would have had too much difficulty winning it but he's a solid all round fighter that might have extended Khan a bit. Witter would have been a shocking opponent. Like I said I'm not criticising Khan for this, but I just don't care enough to pay for it.

Who is convinced that McCloskey will not last 4 rounds? I will take sig bets first come first served on that nonsense. Jeez he only keeps his hands low to trick em into throwing a shot, he's a poor mans RJJ, who says he is not fast?

#1 Why would Warren pay Sky when Khan left him for Golden Boy?
#2 Not well ranked? McCloskey has a high WBC ranking and is the European Champion.
#3 Why would a "World title" be less than the IBO or European title, and if this is the case, then why is the European Champion risking vacating his belt for a shot at the WBA Champion.
#4 Froch does fight the best, but Khan just beat one of the division's best in Maidana and has a pretty decent record at 140lbs. His next fight after this will almost certainly against the divisions #1 so this will just be a tune up.
    Great post mate!

I'll take that. I'm not saying McCloskey is a crap fighter, but Khan is all wrong for him. McCloskey's style is to keep his hands low to trick the opponent, but Khan is so fast I can see it getting McCloskey in trouble early. I say Khan in 3.

    Hahaha. Funny.

Bzkfn, you get plenty of rep from me man, but I can't agree that McCloskey is 3 rounds work for Khan. I just can't have that. McCloskey will take a beating for a while before he caves in for sure.

He hasn't faced anyone even close to Khan's level. Khan is too fast and too good at the weight. If Khan had another 10 seconds against Maidana in that first round, he'd have got him out of there. Maidana was on the ropes and not answering back. Bad fight for Paul, he'll get murdered and quick!

And when I'm right No Contest's sig will be "McClost my senses!"

HAHAHA. Good work. We'll see. I'd have a Sig bet with you, but I always have Sigs turned off these days as I'm always online on my phone and it kills load time.

I been to MEN for last few fights there but not even remotely interested in this one - no interest at all. Not going to pay for it either and will try find a stream.

I grant Khan an easy fight after Maidana war but to dis Presoctt, saying he hasn't done anything since he lost to him and wasn't worthy of a shot, was bullshit. Khan is shit scared of him. Fact

Khan v McCloskey will be as one sided as Ronnie Corbett and Biggie Smalls sat on a see-saw

McCloskey is a lot better fighter than people on here think. This could be a cracker, Khan has only Boxed, that are live, one dimenshenal Fighters, and isnt the best at solving puzzles. We will see, Ive seen McCloskey give european titled middleweights Hell in the gym, in the ring dont think weve seen the best of Him yet.

Yeah its seems alot of people that dont know about fighters just assume the worst. I bet most havent even seen him fight.

I've seen him fight, hence the sig bet. I wouldn't be betting if I didn't have a clear opinion on it. I've never seen McCloskey fight live, but I've seen him on Sky's matchroom shows. He looks decent against the opposition he's faced, but I never thought "That guy is gunna be a world beater". Khan is. His speed is superb. I just don't think he'll allow Paul to get going and will attempt to finish him quick. We shall see anyways.
