What cars do you drive? what do think of the new Range?
Hi guys,
Hope all are well.
Never posted in this section before.
i was wondering what car does everyone drive?
I will be selling my E46 M3 to possibly buy a 4X4 (due to second baby on the way) and am loving the look of the new Evoque!
The supercharged version is due in february..what are your thoughts?

The Evoque is a bit small, but I love the way it looks, what kind of engine and HP does the supercharged version have?

Re: What cars do you drive? what do think of the new Range?
Drive a Ford S Max, stylish, speedy and safe for a family car.
-
The reports are the supercharged version will be 350bhp.
I like the other versions though as they have good mpg and still look nice.
Plus all the reviews are saying its just as good off road.

Only an American would say that! ;D yeah i guess it's small for a 4 x 4 but really it's all relative and to me that's huge. Do you live in the country imp? I have a boring Mazda 5 door blue thing.

I guess it's not all that small, pretty vehicles inside and out, i'd have to get the supercharged 350 HP engine:

I drive a medium sized car and I am more than happy with it. It is second hand, but fits into parking spaces and handles very easily. People who drive big cars in this day and age are a bit sad.
-
I live in south london.
The evoque is a great family car with looks to match. Mpg around the 40 mark which is pretty good.

lol i agree.. Any dude who feels like he has to drive an oversized truck that takes up the whole lane is insecure about something.

Re: What cars do you drive? what do think of the new Range?
I probably sounded mean with my penis post, but I live in an apartment with limited parking space and yesterday saw a vehicle like that ridiculous spaceship double parked and I was sorely tempted to go and key the mother.

Re: What cars do you drive? what do think of the new Range?
The notion must have came from somewhere..
Those trucks get on my nerves actually and I usually cut em off with my normal sized luxury coupe and rev on their ass.. .. It's not cool for any big car to be hogging up all the lane and shit..

Nar fuck that, my cock is huge and I love the V8 Dodge Ram. They're silly expensive over here in the UK, not to mention it would be plain stupid to buy one with fuel prices like they are.
Mars_ax has typical US mentality when it comes to vehicles, you can just tell. Reminds me of some valet dude I was talking to outside a bar in Palm Springs. Half looking down his nose at me he smugly said "you Brits just love those silly little cars, I couldn't have less than a 4 litre"
Erm no, we drive those little silly cars cus our fuel is $10 a gallon.

Re: What cars do you drive? what do think of the new Range?
I have 2 cars, both more pratical, rather than sporty or anything. I have a 2011 Skoda Superb Elegance Estate, and a 2011 Mondeo Titanium Hatchback. Both are up there with any cars I've had and I have had Audi's and BMWs for years. Can't believe how good Skodas are now - would never have thought taht I would buy a Skoda

Range Rover easily makes the best 4x4/ATV in the world, I hope you're able to get one. My only issue with them is the price, which is a little out of my league. My Charger and Ram might seem pricey, but after years of buying & trading for vehicles, i'm an expert at getting really good deals on them.
I also use my vehicles for my business, so for the most part, they're a tax write off, as is the gas, oil, maintenance et al. So it's not like i'm blowing all my money on expensive cars & trucks, even though some of my friends and neighbors might think I am. ;) I can afford to have nice things, so I figure WTF, why not enjoy them.

Re: What cars do you drive? what do think of the new Range?
In the UK if you have to go off road a lot, or pull a horse box etc a 4x4 makes sense, otherwise I think far from making you look cool, it actually makes you look like you have had a charisma bypass. They cost a lot of money, guzzle fuel and are lethal for pedestrians, bikers and people in normal cars.If you have that much money to spend on a luxury car there are plenty that don't look like a fucking portacabin on wheels. To me it seems like the vehicular equivalent of buying a staffy or a pitbull, sure they are powerful looking and all that, but to me they ain't handsome, there are plenty more breeds with much more character and individuality. Horses for courses, and whatever floats your boat, but personally i'm happy with any car that gets me from a to b that i can fit the grandson in, and maybe one of these for the weekend.SPEED TRIPLE | Triumph Motorcycles;D

Cars are depreciating assets as beautiful as they look they will loose value, have some perspective.

Well said, I am more than happy with my medium sized car. A man with a big car should be forced to marry a big woman as there is just no need for it otherwise. If you have to cram a weighty heffer in next to you then there might be some justification, but otherwise they are ugly, can't fit into parking spaces and are extremely dirty too. Out here most of the people who drive big cars are dwarfs and even have a step ladder in the back to climb into the thing. Downright strange.

Re: What cars do you drive? what do think of the new Range?
The old lady has a minivan and I drive something similar to this
http://images.search.yahoo.com/image...mb=.RDsYF1nUEtI can pack everything I need in it and it has been a joy to own. It was cheaper than a full size and gets better gas miliage. I guess if I ever get a bigger boat I might have to go full-size though but for now the kayak, 4-wheeler, yard/house repair items, deer etc all fit perfectly. Not at the same time obviously. I get what Miles says to a certain extent though. Everyone in Texas has a truck and a large portion of them never get real use out of it and don't get me started on all the guys with 4-wheel drive that have either never actually got their truck dirty or needed to get pulled out. 90% of the time someone that knows how to drive off-road won't ever need 4-wheel drive. That being said I wouldn't mine one of these just to play in.

Sorry mate but you clearly know nothing about Staffordshire Bull Terriers!! Granted they're not the pettiest dog out there but to assume people own them just because they look tough is narrow minded.

2007 BMW 525xi and 2001 Nissan Maxima 20th Anniversary Edition (I no longer have this car anymore) aka Black Hammer and White Lightning

This is my baby right now! 2012 MazdaSpeed 3 aka "Kobe" cause it's the Black Mamba. I wanted to get a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution but my wife is really serious about buying a house so we had to compromise. To be honest, I don't regret it one bit. Aside from the torque steer, I love everything about the car.

I sell or trade and buy new cars or trucks every 3 to 4 years, I could keep the vehicles much longer, but I admit, I just love getting new ones with updated features. It's an extravagance, but one i'm able to afford. One day when I get ready to retire, I may buy my last 2 vehicles, something that will last me the remainder of my life.
