Haye willing to fight to become Klitschko mandatory challenger
David Haye willing to fight for mandatory position to get shot against Klitschkos
This may be a load of crap but if true then great. People won't hate on him so much if he stopped tried to talk his way into a title shot and fought his way there instead. Down the line I can see Haye vs. Fury as a real possibility.

Call me a skeptic.... but I'll believe it when the bell sounds for Round 1 between Haye and a non-Klitschko.
For the record, I'd like to see it happen.
If he wins convincingly, he can kick himself in the ass for not doing it earlier.

Re: Haye willing to fight to become Klitschko mandatory challenger
Imagine that. A heavyweight hopeful actually fighting for a shot. That cold beneath your feet is Hell freezing over.
Thats mighty kind of you David. Now get off Twi'ah and let the hands do the talking.

Re: Haye willing to fight to become Klitschko mandatory challenger
In 2008 David Haye said he would "clean out the division"....it is now 2013 and he has had a total of 6 heavyweight fights (that's calling the Harrison farce a fight)
2008

Such a lot of talk from the guy and has he fulfilled his promises? If you you're going to fight fight if not then don't but either way shut the fuck up because nobody wants to listen to you talk!

Could not agree more, this is what he should have been doing all along.
Boxing is like life though, the squeaky wheel gets the attention and Haye took advantage of that.

Which is what he should have been doing all last year, not fucking about and playing celebrity...
But don't tell him that, lest he ban you from his facebook! ;D

You're going to feel bad you were so hard on him, if he works himself into a title shot.
I'm going to tell you, respectfully, what everyone tells me. You are are too damned negative sir, and I really am laughing out loud! Have a nice day.

If Haye wants to work then he should step away from the microphone and do just that. I have no issues with him attempting to EARN a title shot, what I do have issues with is him trying to talk himself to the front of the line...AGAIN. Fight a tough fight, show us you have some heart and MAYBE we'll give you a second chance...that's all he has to do, but he's wasting time and hell he said he would retire by 30 and now he's 32 and he hasn't followed through on his promises to "decapitate the Klitschko's" or "clean out the heavyweight division"....Fight the winner of Fury-Cunningham or Tomaz Adamek or Povetkin or Helenius...the point is he has to fight to get a title shot, he won't get it running his mouth.

i enjoy haye yes, inside and outside of the ring
you cant say noone wants to listen to him because from my experience fans are split quite evenly on haye, you dont want to listen and a lot of people are with you on that, but just as many see it the other way to you
which is understandable for someone with such a big personality
and to put my neck on the line i would say more people find klitchko boring than dislike david haye

If you want to listen to Ali G talk about maybe, at some point, in the future boxing, then go right ahead. Nobody is stopping you.

Big difference between being just negative and being a realist. Empirical evidence would seem to side with El. Now he asks for a mandatory when everyone is busy.

Booth told Telegraph Sport: "I wrote to Bernd Boente, the Klitschkos manager, a few weeks ago, outlining the details for David to fight, the dates and so on, in a contest with Vitali [Klitschko, the World Boxing Council champion] and we have had nothing in return.”
The guy still thinks he's calling the shots. I'm surprised he can get through a doorway.

David Haye is a decent heavyweight, but a total charlatan.

Haye's real problem is that he does not deliver. I can tolerate some trash talk and boasting, if the guy delivers, but when he fails he goes straight to my shit list.
Haye has failed to deliver-badly-twice but here he is again, wanting another chance. If he earns the chance this time, instead of talking his way into it, let him have one LAST chance. I don't think he can deliver, but I'll respect him more if he just shuts up and fights.

Re: Haye willing to fight to become Klitschko mandatory challenger
To be fair, this should have happened already as he could have spent his jungle time hammering those idiots ranked above him.
Lets be fair he could get to mandatory position without any problems in my opinion.

Yet he thinks he is entitled to an automatic shot without any need to fight anyone. He has changed his tune as Vitali has said go away.

Hang on. He lost once to Klitschko and won a world title to get himself in a position for that fight. So theoretically, he earned that fight. He hasn't actually managed to talk himself into another chance. So really, the hate is over the top. Why people hate on Haye for this in a wasteland of a division yet blindly let it go when Zab Judah gets rolled out for another shot at a title in a stacked division is beyond me.
-

David Haye? Yeah I remember him? What is the savior of the division doing now a days? Oh that's right. He's just still talking

Haye squeaked by Nikolay Valuev to win the WBA title that should of already been Wlad's. Wlad beat the shit out of Ruslan Chagaev when he was still the WBA champion. But didn't get the belt because the WBA didn't sanction the fight cuz there the WBA and there fucking idoits. Haye didn't earn shit. He talked himself into the first Klitschko fight and he's trying to do it again

He talked himself into the fight with Wlad (4 years of talking mind you) and the WBA being the dupes they are allowed Valuev to dodge Chagaev (whom Wlad pummeled with ease) and Haye fought Valuev to better his purse in the fight with Wlad....as you'll recall, just before that fight Haye had backed out of the fight with Wlad.... "bad back" and all you'll recall.

Re: Haye willing to fight to become Klitschko mandatory challenger
Haye reminds me of the Nihilists from The Big Lebowski wanting ransom money while all along not having a hostage....:shakehead:

Nothing David Haye says or does interests me anymore.
I just wish the irritating twat and his little pinky toe would shut the fuck up and piss off.

It wasn't a bad back. It was terrible negotiating. Haye was getting paid so much by Setanta, he put all his eggs in the UK TV deal basket. Setanta however, overpaid for football & boxing to outbid Sky, and didn't have the capital to back it up, thus they went under about 3 weeks before the fight due to lack of suscriptions from viewers. Haye would have been fighting almost for free. It is hard enough to get him to fight for millions, let alone for buttons.

Re: Haye willing to fight to become Klitschko mandatory challenger
There is no point in trying to talk any sense here if you are a true boxing fan who actually attends shows and pays real money to follow the sport.
You need to have never paid to attend a boxing match, and be an internet blagmiester at getting Hong Kong transmissions for nothing to get a post in here.
David Haye gave us some cracking fights, deserves credit. If he does fight again none of these 'commentators' will actually buy a bloody ticket! To my mind they don't deserve a vote, know it all bastards.
