I had it 114-114 and so far the press scores i have collected have been around 50-50.
I will not be doing a fight report for my site as i have computer problems and on the work computer lol but i can collect scores when home and on twitter @thefightscore
The scores along with an average score from the press and fans combined will also be added on my site (in the signature below)

5-3-4 even (I know 4 even is high but i really could not separate them)
115-114 (i think that tallies!?)
I had it 2 rounds for Canelo.. Even Trout admitted Canelo was the better man that night.

114-113 Canelo. I gave it to him by the knockdown otherwise I'd have had it a draw.

I felt certain that Canelo had won... for sure, i didn't see a draw... and if ur a guy who likes power punches, i could see more rounds in Canelo's favor... that sais, let me just add that Trout is a hell of a fighter. I don't think we'll see Mayweather in with guy anytime soon. I'm not sure anyone else can beat Trout... I was really impressed.. alittle treaking here and there..and it could be Trout who wins the fight... i thought Trout was the smarter fighter..BUT,power won out this time.Quote:

So that makes it 116-113 Alvarez. I thought he took over the 2nd half of the fight and always looked in control. Didn't think Trout would find it so hard to hit him
115-111 - Canelo.
I deducted one point from Trout because the Showtime comms kept saying he landed shots that blatantly missed.

115 - 113 Canelo
114-113 Canelo, the knockdown won it for him. He fought in patches, Trout backed him up on many occasions and his defence was good as Trout missed a lot. Trout just couldn't land a big enough shot to really worry Canelo. 118-109 was simply ridiculous, that scorecard shows a one sided fight and i certainly did not see that..
Alvarez won't want a rematch. If he is to challenge Mayweather he will not get away with fighting in spurts and his defence will not save him either, Mayweather will punch holes through it like Swiss cheese!
I scored it 114-113 for Canelo.
6 rounds each, the knockdown was the difference.
116-111 Alvarez.

Have to disagree, Canelo was hurting Trout with those uppercuts. Everyone--almost everyone--will agree it was a close fight, and a KD by Trout might have changed things.Quote:

I want open scoring, but it has to be after each and every round. Do it all the way or forget it, after 4 and 8 is BS. The minimum should be 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10.
Perhaps its all about when you show the open scores? Round 8 made the end of the fight very booring. And the shit scores that came in at that time was de-motivating. No way was Canelo all the way up in the fight at that time.Quote:
