Does anybody believe this will be the case with Khan?

Re: Does anybody believe this will be the case with Khan?
so the reason he's been killing himself at 140 and making himself more chinny is???
line up to fight Kell Brook when he moves up?
-
Re: Does anybody believe this will be the case with Khan?
Well it was certainly the truth with Cotto. Perhaps Khan should have moved up 2 years ago when he first talked about it. Perhaps deciding to stay at 140 and get some retribution actually made matters worse.

Re: Does anybody believe this will be the case with Khan?
Of course Mayweather wants to fight him, it is another easy win

If you watch the video I posted in this thread I think its clear Khan doesnt want a fight with Brook at all.

Re: Does anybody believe this will be the case with Khan?
Khan calls himself a superstar lol hes a good boxer but he wont ever be a hall of famer
-
Re: Does anybody believe this will be the case with Khan?
If higher weight = stronger chin then khan better move up to cruiserweight and quickly with his chin being so poor right now
on a serious note I cant see it -

um it's Khan who's been running his mouth off. It's another easy win because Mayweather is that much better ;D

Re: Does anybody believe this will be the case with Khan?
Avoiding dangerous punchers is a sure sign that his chin has not improved. He can run but he can't hide from that fact. At welterweight the likes of Thurman and brooks would wipe him out.

Couldnt agree more.
Im sick of khans excuses and running away from his losses.

Re: Does anybody believe this will be the case with Khan?
Maybe we just don't know how weak Khan feels at 140, maybe he thinks feels he'll be stronger at the higher weight.
Maybe he's just a fool???
-
Re: Does anybody believe this will be the case with Khan?
he should stay at 140 lb and beat the best before moving up, it is one fight.

How is khan getting away with all of this.?!
Khans actions are doing him no favours. Stay the f@ck at 140 and clean up!
Khan was doing okay against garcia until garcia hit him back.
Virgil, golden boy and khans family have told him to fight a weak ass opponent at 147 and then he gets the mayweather fight.
The system stinks.

He must be on all your minds, because you keep talking about him, that makes him a star to my way of thinking. I don't know about him and the hall of fame, but anything is possible.

Re: Does anybody believe this will be the case with Khan?
Having a good chin would help...not fighting like a hyped up spaz and running in trying to slug would help much much more.
-
Re: Does anybody believe this will be the case with Khan?
He's full of shit as usual. He just fought at 143 and got rocked several times by a career lightweight. He started out at lightweight and got wobbled, they moved him down to 130 to see if he could take punches better but he got flattened by Willie Limond if I remember correctly, back up to 135 where he got sparked, up to 140 where he got sparked again and then looking rubbish at 143. I'd love to see him fight a big puncher at 147. :)

He's not getting away with anything. It's just nobody really gives a fuck what Khan does

Re: Does anybody believe this will be the case with Khan?
One fighter I'm pretty sure Khan will never share a boxing ring with is Lucas Matthysse.
-
Re: Does anybody believe this will be the case with Khan?
Every time he gets in the ring he goes back to fighting like he is on the olympic stage and forgets his game plan that he and his trainer has worked on for months prior to each fight. Ask Freddie Roach
His tactics and fight style never change and he goes back to his predictable speed boxing hanging chin out every time he gets into a bit of an exchange with all his opponents.
Maybe fighting at his natural weight might help him but unless he changes tactics i think we will just see the same result.

Khan has done a huge duck in avoiding lucus and danny garcia.
Mayweather/khan should not be allowed until khan beats both of these guys.
-
Re: Does anybody believe this will be the case with Khan?
"Kell Brook is not a big enough name". "No one knows who he is"
So- "I'm sorry to all the fans". He desn't wat any part of Brook.
I dislike Khan even more every time he opens his mouth
-
Re: Does anybody believe this will be the case with Khan?
"I'm a superstar"
what a fucking tool.
Will be sparked in next 3 fights. Floyd probably his best option as can probably go distance

Jimmy Saville will be pleased with your way of thinking

nah Floyd is too accurate and will get him out of there.

If it was down to Khan he would get in there tomorrow. His management may well think differently.
-
Re: Does anybody believe this will be the case with Khan?
Khan should fight a bunch of killers at 140 instead of going for the jackpot against the best fighter on the planet for a once in a lifetime payday?
So stupid it's laughable.....

I think that's the first time I've seen a fighter accused of ducking someone he fought less than a year ago ;D

Re: Does anybody believe this will be the case with Khan?
Khan is in lala land, if he thinks his chin will improve at welter, he doe's talk some rubbish
they will hit him a lot harder at a higher weight.
This is Khans down fall, he is good fighter but will never be a great fighter, in his own front
room maybe,;D but in the land of boxing no way.
He keeps telling us he has a good chin WERE IS IT,! hit him right down he goes, he spends more
time on the floor than my rug by the fire.!;D

What makes you think he's avoiding a rematch? He got stopped pretty comprehensively less than a year ago, I don't see why they should have fought again immediately. Iirc Garcia said they weren't going to do it again straight away and he'd have I earn the rematch. Which is fair enough.
Khan has said he wants the rematch, he said last night he wants to stay at 140 to take on Garcia again. We could at least wait for Khan to move up to 147 and say he's done with 140 before we accuse him of ducking a rematch. It's been less than a year since they fought, give them a chance.
-
Re: Does anybody believe this will be the case with Khan?
Khan is many things, deluded, a few hairs short of a lions mane, not quite on planet earth, but one thing you can not accuse him of is cowardice or running from Garcia. That is looney talk.
-
Khan will fight anyone, that's half his problem.
-
In no particular order.
Khan beats judah
Peterson beats khan
Garcia beats judah
Judah beats mattyhsse
Mattyhsse beats peterson
Garcia beats khan
Garcia is the man to beat in this divison to take the top spot.

There are no more chances.
We expect khan to fight garcia or mattyhsse next.
Lets see what happens.
Khan has the speed and the skill to achieve wins over both fighters so lets see if this can be achieved.
