It would be a 'Pick em' for me, deffo wouldn't right Khan off.
If Brook gets anywhere near Khan with those right hands (even a jab) he's kipping. Khan has been offensively blunted recently for some reason, trying too hard on defence I think and he's still getting hit about by non hitters. I'd have to go with Brook by KO. Khan might make him look like a plodder for a bit mind.
Brook has a punishing jab and khan would probably get wobbled by it. I woukd pick khan if he had good punch resistance but he doesnt.
Khan would outscore him until he gets hit and he will start to fall apart. Brook knocks him out
If Khan had a solid beard on him he'd beat every fucker going in fight of the year candidates every single time.
This would be huge in the UK and I love to see it happen sometime next year , they could pass one another in opposite directions though - Brook keeps winning and Khan loses again ( would Khan really be on Brooks radar?).
Im sure the lure of the $£ could sort that issue out though. :)
I said a while ago that Khans punch resistance is near on non existant these days and the boy has been in some tough tough fights and taken some proper beatings, he even seemed to be slurring post fight last time out and didnt look good at all.
Dont get me wrong he's still v dangerous with his speed but once someone can ride his early attacks he's fucked.
He'd still give most fighters aggro early on but at Welter I see Brook destroying him mid rounds with his power.
Don't think so, Brook would find his chin sooner or later. I don't think Brook has been in with anyone that Khan wouldn't have dealt with pretty easily either though, it would be a good fight to see.
Senchenko actually hurt Brook in the 4th before getting levelled himself, landed a good right hand or two and had his legs going a bit. Could be Brook just got a bit sloppy, but he was hurt before against Jones and he's yet to fight a top operator.
I would pick khan to win. khans very fast and he's a really good boxer he does have a dodgy chin but the fights he's been stopped in they were huge punches if he sorts out his defence he could be a strong force at 147
I'd go for Khan.
Brook has fought almost no one; certainly not anyone on Khan's level. Say what you like about Khan, but he's been in with some tough world class fighters who are in a different league to Kell Brook.
I'm not convinced that anyone who struggles as badly as Brook did against the one dimensional Carson Jones is going to beat Khan or anyone who operates at top level.

if you watch the garcia knockdowns - timing - wide open to counters. Brook doesn't have that power but still decent enough.
He'd basically be like an even faster Joe Calzaghe. Speed, work-rate and ace chin. Really difficult to beat, because he can't really be outworked or knocked out. He would have to get massively outclassed to lose a fight, and there's not many fighters who will massively outclass him. Maybe Mayweather, but he does that to everyone.
I know I hate him but since when did khan become the master ring general, defensive whizz?
I think the attraction between floyd vs khan is its somthing we haven't seen before khans faster than floyd and will try to outwork him. I think the only type of fighter that will give floyd problems is a fast puncher with a high work rate and there's only khan and pacman that I would personally want to see floyd face. Every other fighter is a easy fight for floyd
Khan all the skills but no chin, Brook would get to him in about 6 rounds, lets be honest bigger
men hit harder, Brook is a light middle that boils down to welter,! advantage to the bigger man.
Lets face fact's Khan can't take light welter punches, and he looks very poor at the higher weight
just a accident waiting to happen.!!!!! ;)
Anybody would think that Mayweather was slow the way they bang on about Khan's speed. If Khan doesn't fight Mayweather or Brook who does he fight? Brook would be to Strong for Khan, and Khan's name shouldn't even be mentioned in same breath as Mayweather! They're calling out Mayweather because Khan is one more defeat away from oblivion! Let Khan fight Broner. That way at least one myth will be dispelled.
Plenty of fighters get caught with decent shots and just soak it up , Amir hasn't got that in him and fight by fight its getting worse.
I said already punch resistance wise he's shot.
Look back at some of the beatings he's taken ;-)
Khan has got a massive heart and no matter what state he's in he always gets up and wants to fight on.
Always been his downfall but he is pure entertainment.
His only chance against Brook is early on .
Nothin to add that hasn't already been said
Khan will dominate early rounds but Brook will catch him eventually.
Would love to see it though
I possibly agree about Khan vs Broner as long as he keeps out of harms way, but there's always a chance at the top level that the opponent will get his chances and connect and that's where Khan's problems lie. Almost impossible for any fighter to steer clear of his opponent for 12 rounds.
It's more about how you react to getting hurt. Unfortunately Khan's instinct is to act brave and try to "War it out" and even encourage your opponent on despite the fact that your legs are wobbling. Other boxers, even including Mayweather instinctively either hold on or avoid further punches until their head is cleared. What Khan needs to realise (and I don't think he ever will!) is that there is no shame in getting hurt, or even taking a count, but it's about getting the "W".
for the record, I also believe Pacquiao is faster than Khan and Mayweather isn't much slower, but the key is that Mayweather is much more accurate in attack and his reactions in defence are second to none.
For reasons I have yet to figure out he is still relevant and a fairly good draw. Probably gets Floyd more cash then pretty much any other opponent. The reasons again for this I have no answer for. He's a fast good looking kid who hits pretty hard for a rake. His problem is upstairs. He's a boxer with the brains of a brawler and does not have the punch resistance to back that mentality up. He's got focus and game plan issues just like Judah did. In fact his career kind of looks the same. Not sure how he has come close to earning a shot but such is boxing.
Brook can now challenge Alexander again. Execute the mandatory or start paying rent. Time to shit or get off the pot. Should he win he can then take Khan in an all British punch up. It would probably sell out the 02. I'm not sold on Brook. I think he's a little paranoid of the elite. My gut feeling is that he's unsure of his chin.
Khan has no shot at Floyd or Broner. He'd look like a deer in the headlights against both of them. The first couple of rounds might look like we were about to see something special and then the power goes out.
I think Khan is finished at world level. He was garbage last time out at 143 against a journeyman career lightweight. He got wobbled a couple of times in that fight. His chin isn't going to stand up to anybody at welter who can punch. I'd even back Alexander to stop him.
I read Khan might be fighting Guerrero next if he doesn't get Floyd. Guerrero would absolutely ruin him. I'm still not sold on Brook but if they ever do meet then Brook will spark him.
Khan is too fragile, he will pick a non puncher for his next fight and then try and make a fight with Floyd. the whole thing is a con and a fraud.
He will pick a nonpuncher and probably still lose his legs. How can a fight with Floyd be justified when Khan doesn't even look that good in front of journeyman. I don't hate Khan, he has put on some exciting fights with great movement and fantastic speed but as Kirk said I think those days are over. A Floyd Khan fight probably wouldn't go the distance. Floyd, as he said, picks his opponents ingeniously. I really think he wants this fight so he can give the Floydtards the knockout that he always has an excuse that he didn't get.
