Not watched Alexander-Porter yet but thank fuck that ends Brook-Alexander.
Who is Porter promoted by? Matchroom might be able to get that in the UK.
Brook must be sick he would have knocked 7 bells out of Alexander,! as Porter goes he gets done
in the first half of the fight.
What I understand in the amateurs he fought at Middle weight, he lost to De Gale.:)
Porter would be too strong for Brook, Id say he stops him in 8 or 9.

That's what I thought, didn't see that fight but he did get a draw or a SD with Diaz and I figured he would lose last night just for that. Maybe Diaz is still pretty handy, he could certainly fight some years back. Porter looked pretty good last night though if you didn't see it, puts a lot of pressure on, has some pop and takes a good shot, pretty good skills and engine. I think Brook is the more talented fighter but he hasn't been in against top guys despite being a pro forever, and he struggled a lot in his toughest fight yet. Would like to see this one, it's certainly not a safe fight for either.Quote:

Then Khan beats Diaz, a fight i have seen twice and although khan was rocked a couple of times (and down) he won every round reasonably comfortably when he wasnt hurt
now porter beats alexander

Brooks has got his head together and would beat Porter and Alexander, hope he gets the opportunity and takes it this time.
Both guys have impressed me with their recent performances :cool: I could see either guy winning on their best night :) 50/50 fight :o
Porter stepped up at least one level above anything he's been at previously in beating Alexander. Anybody who can beat Alexander that comprehensively should be taken seriously. I think he beats Brook in America, maybe Brook has half a chance in England.
Porter-Brook is a great fight imo, but lets see if Brook actually wants to travel or fight at that level. It's fine to say he would've beaten Alexander as well, but that's not an easy task and Kell has never fought anyone nearly as good.
Porter isn't that special. Brooks should fight him immediately.
Brook should have been right in the mix several years ago though. He's either got terrible promotion or he's content to fight on the level he has been. Any word on where the fight with Porter would take place if it does happen?
toigh call, porter has sound skills but no power to put brooks down. porter on points if he lasts the fight.
