That's what I thought, didn't see that fight but he did get a draw or a SD with Diaz and I figured he would lose last night just for that. Maybe Diaz is still pretty handy, he could certainly fight some years back. Porter looked pretty good last night though if you didn't see it, puts a lot of pressure on, has some pop and takes a good shot, pretty good skills and engine. I think Brook is the more talented fighter but he hasn't been in against top guys despite being a pro forever, and he struggled a lot in his toughest fight yet. Would like to see this one, it's certainly not a safe fight for either.

Kell Brook. He'd have beaten Alexander and I think he'd stop Porter. Porter is faster than I thought he was but Brook has enough power to keep him from rushing in like he did with Devon.

It's hard to know. If Brook fights any way like he did in Jones 1 surely Porter stops him.

Looks like this fight wont be happening after all. Porter doesn't have to face Brook for 6 months as a new champion and can fight just about anyone he wants in the meantime (voluntary). So unless Brooks team come up with a shitloads offer, which they wont, they'll both be fighting someone else.

it makes khans performance against Diaz look decent doesnt it?

I watched Diaz v Porter and thought if was going to go either way it should have gone to Diaz

Then Khan beats Diaz, a fight i have seen twice and although khan was rocked a couple of times (and down) he won every round reasonably comfortably when he wasnt hurt

now porter beats alexander

so really all things fair perhaps khans last win should have been against the guy who was robbed off the man who beat the man or something like that
