Strange.
Watching something the other week and guy said Floyd has bought 90 super cars from his shop, he buys them and rides them for about a week then just leaves them is car park.
Not sure to the truth in this, but if it is true, strange he would sell this one.
But on another note, who gives a shit?
I've got a ford focus for sale if anyone's interested.

Re: floyd's selling his ferrari, he must be goin' broke...
i know he has a ton of them so maybe he is getting rid of some of them.
-
Re: floyd's selling his ferrari, he must be goin' broke...
He's going to go broke when he retires because he's stupid with money like most boxers.
I think he's probably just as stupid as Pacquiao, the only difference is he makes a fuck load more money and gets to keep a much higher percentage.
He actually has a name for the professional gold diggers that surround him (TMT)

Don't know why this item is a boxing thread but I will bite.
If you want an auto that says I have money to burn on maintenance and you want a low mileage, well maintained, previously celebrity owned auto of that make and model it's perfect.
If you can get Floyd to put his signature on it somewhere then you have money in the bank.
I don't know why Floyd hasn't donated it to charity. With a few autographs on it, it could bring in a bundle at an autoshow auction, plus garner some good vibes for Floyd.
-
Re: floyd's selling his ferrari, he must be goin' broke...
As boxing history has shown us, it's that many of the biggest stars of the sport will go broke when they hang it up.
Only a few has escaped that fate such as Leonard and De La Hoya comes to mind. Hagler is doing well or at least isn't broke. Ali is doing well and so is Naseem Hamed.

Floyd does not do good deeds or charity work, he has an image of being a prick to maintain.

So much hate...smh.
If Floyd were just as stupid as Pac he'd still be with Bob Arum....;D

He's posting one Facebook how he just bought a one of a kind 3million dollar bugatti so maybe that's why. Which will be he's 3rd bugatti now

Re: floyd's selling his ferrari, he must be goin' broke...
In a recent interview he mentioned having some investments in real estate and some other stuff. Can't remember exactly. AND he left Bob Arum when he was still very young. So he isn't dumb.
Maybe he just wants to sell his Ferrari because he's got another white one already.;D

Re: floyd's selling his ferrari, he must be goin' broke...
Selling his ferrari dont mean shit. It sure doesnt mean he needs money..
Ferrari F430 is an outdated ferrari so it is a shit car in his eyes... might as well rid of it..
If I was in his position, I would be embarrassed to ride in a F430..
Ferrari 458 Speciale is the only way to go...

Re: floyd's selling his ferrari, he must be goin' broke...
Also, it's gay to talk about another man's money.. who gives a fuck about what another man does with his money or belongings.. im only concerned about my bank account.
Not a knock on Bradley cuz i like him but this is a hating, shit thread.

I agree that Floyd overspends but he isn't stupid with money. He will continue making money after boxing through promoting and investing. He may make bad life choices but that doesn't mean he is an idiot in all aspects of life. The only way he is going broke is through excessive gambling
-
Floyd is not going to wind up broke. He said, in a recent interview, he could stop boxing tomorrow and he would still have a weekly check coming in.
Anyone who thinks Floyd is stupid is the stupid one. He might not have the education some of us have but as far as intelligence goes, Floyd can run with the big boys.
Watch him during interviews, he doesn't get coaxed into saying anything he doesn't want to. If the question doesn't suit him, he steers the conversation in a different direction. I'm not saying he never makes a mistake or never gets pissed off or annoyed but he is normally poised and in control.

You figure Al Hayman sent him to interview school?
I doubt it too, when Floyd was younger he was playing the disrespectful "Pretty Boy Floyd", now he's older and morphing into "The Business Man".
Floyd is a smart dude!

Can you sit back and imagine the comedy and luxury of the option to sell a "toy" in 1 day rather than busting your ass from sand to brick over 2, 3 years to say you've earned-cleared the same sum if you're lucky? I can't.
The idiot has a garage full. Guys like him fear not having enough bills to throw at a camera, and we're not talking gas, phone, and electric but not going bust. That'll be Broner who will be fronting with a stack on ones and wrapping his grill in aluminum foil on his burner phone when the end comes.

One of the key reasons is that they never actually have the money it's claimed they do. After taxes and payouts a 100M can become, 20 net pretty quick. If you spent like you had 100, you're screwed.
Evander Holyfield should be a lesson to all boxers. 100 bedroom house and 3 divorces, what a fool.
What rich boxers fail to realize, is the maintenance involved in such purchases you can't forget about those leeches (family members included) that drain you dry.
Having said that I think it’s a bit of an over-rated myth promoted by Hollywood about once great fighters who go broke when retired but when it does happen EVERYONE GETS TO HEAR ABOUT IT
Even if not entirely true
Take Tito Trinidad, last we heard he was broke.
But truth is Tito Trinidad owns a huge chain of gas stations in Puerto Rico and continues to make money through small businesses but he did lose 60 million and now Trinidad is left with $9 million (aw poor Tito) in assets and about three times that in debts, according to boxing publication The Ring
Tito Trinidad reportedly broke after aide squandered $63 million - Ring TV
Everyone knows about the Joe Louis story (Who is the poster boy for broke fighters) and Leon Spinks and many others
Also, what do people mean by 'broke' ?
The only fighters I know who REALLY-REALLY went broke were the likes of Iran Barkley the previously mentioned Leon Spinks. You had others who ppl said went broke, Hitman Hearns, Riddick Bowe but you are hardly likely to see either of them on welfare.
I'm sure there are many once rich broke business men, Carl Schilling for example, from Boston Red Sox is broke right now cause he invested all 185 million on a company that went bankrupt and he lost it all.
You have to be smart with your money and not have bunch of morons advising you to do the wrong thing and living out of interest maybe sufficient for most people but people like boxers with their life style may not be enough, they sometime spend more than they will earn out of interests and plus most fighters are hugely generous, Tommy Hearns gave away millions to family and friends as did Ali and Roberto Duran
Likewise there are many singers and actors who have gone broke but you don't here the same hoop-la about them.
IMO - There are more fighters who are doing well - financially - after retirement
- Lennox Lewis.
- Ike Quartey.
- Larry Holmes.
- Roy Jones.
- David Haye.
- Vitaly Klitschko.
- My man Ronald 'Winky' Wright is doing good and he was semi-retired for years before he really retired.
- Micheal Soinks.
- George Foreman.
- Joe Calzaghe.
- Nigel Benn.
- Steve Collins.
- Humberto Soto (He has taken all his purses over the years and owns a fleet of transit buses in his hometown in mexico. I heard on a telecast he has expanded it substantially) Jameel McCline (He has also done well too I read. He chose to come out of retirement to see if he still had it. He got a few fights in but clearly needed to go back into retirement. he lost to)
- Steve Collins.
- Naseem Hamed (Prince Naseem is loaded. Invested in property in Sheffield and oil from his heritage in Yemen.
- Gerry Cooney
Each of them could easily afford to give me or you $50 grand and not want it back
But boxers being financial shrewd with their money does is not sexy and does not trigger any stereotype that people have of boxers
As for Mayweather. He does have a lot of hangers on but I think he has made too much money to go broke. He will be well off for life. He only fights for big money and not chump change due to his understanding of his ability to generate revenue like no other in the sport.
Plus, I think all his seemingly reckless spending is a big ol facade to the public (he is "Money May" right?). Floyd is more business savvy then many give him credit for.

You seriously think floyd has passed Oscar? And you think Schaefer is Golden boy? You a short bus riding mofo?
Schaefer is a puppet and Floyd is a bigger puppet of Al Haymon.
Oscar got millions coming in fucking around and snorting up coke. Floyd gotta do what Al Haymon tells him and he can spend only what Al Haymon allows him to spend. The mofo lost his friendship with 50 cent cause he couldn't cough out a few millions for a real promotion company 50 created. Haymon didn't allow his son floyd the few millions. Floyd got a fake promotional company and 50 now has a real one.

What you should have said! Mr .5 thought he was coming to Vegas to cut the ass out of an elaphant by getting Floyd and Manny into the ring.
He was thinking he would go straight to the top on Floyd's
coattail, instead he ran into Al Haymon, Bob Arum, and the not so stupid Floyd.
Apparently, boxers, boxing promoters, and Vegas weren't that impressed with Mr .50.
The last I heard he left Vegas licking his wounds and mumbling about being tired of waiting for Manny.
Welcome to the club, Mr .50.
I wonder if he regrets the money he spent wining and dining Floyd. What the hell, he learned a few things, in my opinion.

Schaefer is the brains at GBP. He's also an employee of GBP. He doesn't own any of it. He's not even shareholder. Oscar owns Schaefer. He also owns Ring Magazine, a soccer team and some land property. I doubt Floyd has or will ever surpass him income wise

Re: floyd's selling his ferrari, he must be goin' broke...
That is his 360 and its only worth about 120 grand. When I say only I mean its like me owning my 1995 Corolla. Its probably just the fact that he has nowhere to drive it.
Here is some of his other cars.
http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p...ider-final.jpg
And here is his time piece collection,
http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p...39-607x500.jpg
A few of those are worth about ten times as much as that car.
I doubt he is hurting for cash.

Son, Floyd Mayweather's promoter is Golden Boy Promotions.
Mayweather Promotions, my rosy red rectum...
Mayweather Promotions is just a name on a banner, and that's about it.
In Nevada, every Boxing promoter requires a promoting license, and Floyd's "promotional company" is that in name only.
Gives the impression he's the savvy businessman/promoter running the show, but he's not: Goldenboy is the Real promoter.
This link has all promoters of professional boxing in nevada for 2013.
All the usual suspects, Mayweather's bogus smoke-and-mirrors "promotion" nowhere to be found.
http://boxing.nv.gov/uploadedFiles/b...t-07-11-13.pdf
Here's 2014, no Mayweather Promotions here either.
http://boxing.nv.gov/uploadedFiles/boxingnvgov/content/telephone/2014-PRO-
Most here already knew that Lil Floyd is full of $#!t with this Mayweather Promotions/TheMoneyTeam nonsense...
It's a tax-shelter or something, gives him some advantages of some kind for putting his paydays through this lame company, but Mayweather Promotions clearly isn't a real licensed professional boxing promotion, just more smoke-and-mirrors from Lil Floyd, dude's made a career of that.
Floyd's a Golden Boy Promotions fighter...

Catching feelings? Do you even know what you asked me? Sounds like its you who has fallen in love with floyds dick.
I'm telling you the truth. Oscar > Floyd. I like floyd and I would pick him to beat Oscar 6/10 times. I don't like Oscar as much but the guy runs shit on another level. Floyd just like the hip hop culture of today, and rappers of today, is in a game of exaggerating. Your boy isn't as bg as you think.
Oscar > Al Haymon > Schaefer = Floyd
