hell the man who caught the real cheat in Margarito, Nazeem Richardson even said that the Trinidad situation was NOTHING like Margarito's, that it wasn't loaded wraps, just the manner that the bandages were applied weren't allowed in NY, but were legal in nearly any other state including Nevada, it's really a non issue, the Goomba that is the bloated Vargas is just trying to make something out of nothing, he had the chance to rematch Trinidad and opted not to, simple as that

Well it's not really that big of a stretch, given that Hopkin's team caught Felix with illegal wraps a year or so later.
I don't know much about Felix's illegal wraps or how much bang they would add to Felix's punch so who knows.

they weren't loaded wraps, even Richardson himself said this, the way they were wrapped was ONLY illegal in NY, it was legal in nearly every other state, including Nevada, so like I said it's a non issue, people might as well start defending Juarez against Barrera in the rematch cause tape so high up on the gloves is also prohibited

I like Tito but he did have some freakish power, the sound of the punch against Joppy was like a bomb.
Vargas is a warrior but looks a bit out of shape.

Joppy just had no respect for Tito's punch power, was taking the shots on the jaw flush, stubbornly, kinda like Mayorga did, but less showy. If Mayorga was fit he could have beaten Tito. He had no where near the fitness of when he fought Forrest. He was fucked after the first or second round. Took a hell of a hiding against Trinidad and only went down from a body shot in the end. Obviously letting Trinidad hit him flish with his best punch didnt help but he looked too strong for him in the first round. His fitness let him down.

trinidad was exposed by Winky Wright, Oscar de la Hoya, Bernard Hopkins, and Roy Jones as being utterly unable to box, utterly unable to make adjustments, when faced with a slick boxer. Trinidad needed a Vargas, a Joppy, to stand right in front of him and challenge him, bomb away.
same as Foreman, who lost to slick boxers like Ali, Jimmy Young, Evander Holyfield. Couldnt deal with the slicksters.
