Congrats to you guys, I didn't think it would happen
I knew there was a better than average chance he would win. May not be a knockout, but he sure did win and won big- but not necessarily a blow out.
Brook clearly won. Glad they didn't decide to rip him off the way they did to Khan vs. Peterson.
No need to gloat Fenster. It was a close fight. I picked Brook and had him winning by 2 but wouldnt have complained if he didnt get the nod. I thought Porters game plan was poor. Opens up a lot of big fights for Brook and I hope he stays committed and focuses. Id love to see him KO Khan in a big venue in England or even get a few big fights in England that I might make the trip across the pond for. Brook v Marquez would be good to see.Quote:

Agreed, I wanted Porter to win but Brook came prepared and stifled Porters strong points. I think he did some excessive holding but as we say it isn't illegal unless the ref calls it. Brook was on the money and Porter didn't adjust. Not a blow out but Brook deserved the W.
Porter was shocking, I agree it was a close fight but it would have been a shame if he had have got it
I've seen him fight before and he wasn't that ragged

Brook has the eye to prove it... while Porter was trying to make it an interesting fight, in no way, shape, or form, did he fight in a manner that suggested he should have gotten a few rounds because of that strategy. Especially with the clenches.Quote:

Didn't think it would happen so props to Kell Brook, he fought as good a fight as could be expected against such a relentless swarmer.

Brook definitely did better than I expected. Turned up, handled fighting away from home in a big fight with ease and handled Porter's pressure and one or two moments of adversity extremely well. He definitely won the fight too, landed the cleaner stuff throughout. He's definitely better than I thought he was.

I was sloppy drunk when I got around to watching the fight and had Porter winning, again I was drunk, but it seemed like a shitty enough fight to where I don't feel the desire to watch it sober. I have to eat humble pie that just by going 12 Brook exceeded my expectations as I saw him getting knocked out, not a fan of the guy tho and don't think I ever will be but props to him for getting the win.
