Brook held a lot for my taste too, but then again, Porter hit Brook behind the head too many times as well.
But Porter initiated those clenches... he rushed in with his head on far too many occasions....

I agree, Porter was the one fighting like a wild child.

I knew 100% Brook would win, although I did believe he would stop him.

    Good enough for me though!

Brook has the eye to prove it... while Porter was trying to make it an interesting fight, in no way, shape, or form, did he fight in a manner that suggested he should have gotten a few rounds because of that strategy. Especially with the clenches.

See, when Maidana swarms in, Maidana doesn't clench. He swings.

Didn't think it would happen so props to Kell Brook, he fought as good a fight as could be expected against such a relentless swarmer.

And he's right... he is #1 in the UK right now.

I'm Kirkland Laing. I don't do humble pie.

Brook definitely did better than I expected. Turned up, handled fighting away from home in a big fight with ease and handled Porter's pressure and one or two moments of adversity extremely well. He definitely won the fight too, landed the cleaner stuff throughout. He's definitely better than I thought he was.

I'm surprised anyone is giving Brook a chance. I have never rated the guy. He has a good jab yes but I have seen him wobbled and shakey enough to know he's getting stopped.
Brook has far more than just a jab in his arsenal. He has the ability to go up a level and match or beat Porter in every department, speed , power, boxing. If he has it in him mentally to do so, he can stop Porter early by walking him onto something, if it goes to the cards though he will have a tough time winning in America. He sucked it up against Jones whilst clearly not fit ,so I think he does have the heart to match his ability. Can't wait. And at the end if he wins he will squeal like Keith lemon being given a wedgie and fall onto the canvas in shock
Well I was wrong about him stopping Porter and the cards and even I could never have predicted the green bit.

I was sloppy drunk when I got around to watching the fight and had Porter winning, again I was drunk, but it seemed like a shitty enough fight to where I don't feel the desire to watch it sober. I have to eat humble pie that just by going 12 Brook exceeded my expectations as I saw him getting knocked out, not a fan of the guy tho and don't think I ever will be but props to him for getting the win.
