At least he wants to earn the shot by winning a title and not just expecting it. How the hell the fight did 80,000 and ppv is beyond me.

We also tend to forget froch had no defence in the first few rounds of the first fight , when groves caught him flush ,froch's punches won't have been as hard and sharp for a good few rounds after that . Not sure how the Harrison comparison works. Audley totally froze on the big stage, Groves reveled in it. He got ironed out by one the best fighters in the sport. It's the equivalent of Audley putting in a great effort against Klitschko.
And considering he's jumping straight back into the ring at European level, instead of dining out on the success of the Froch experience, must say something about his character/desire too.
He's an arrogant cunt, and a bit delusional, but he knows Froch III is never happening in a million. Still some big fights for him though, whether he can win them or not is another matter.
If Froch were to lose his belt and Groves somehow won a belt, the fight would happen again.

We are not saying groves is Audley, he showed real heart in the first froch fight.
I am saying he could now go into a shell like harrison, due to the ko losses he has suffered.
Im meaning that he wont reach any higher than he has. He may win a WBF belt (if it still exists) and a pize fighter tournament;D but I cant really see him getting through 12 rounds with any of the champs. He looks too fragile. He slows down, his chin isn't great and his defensive skills aren't very good either. He literally just stood right in front of Froch with his hands round his face looking at the floor in the first fight. Just went in to a shell. In the second he got caught with a punch he should have seen a mile off. It was a strong shot but wouldn't have landed on most fighters and if it did, I cant see someone like Kessler looking like he'd just been shot in the head!

Whether you think the stoppage in the 1st fight was right or not, nobody can deny that Groves was having the better of it at least. In the 2nd fight , before the KO, there was nothing in the fight , but like I said before,credit to Froch. Overall, Froch hardly showed that he's some sort of phenomenon . Groves has already destroyed Smith and will go for it again.
Lets not forget his 2 losses are against one of the best British fighters this generation.
True Froch is 2-0 against Groves. I'd hardly say the first fight was a KO though. But it's not unthinkable that Groves could beat Froch. Remember in either fight it's not like Froch totally outclassed Groves. If he did, then Groves has no business running his mouth.Quote:
