Froch will comeback and will probably fight De Gale. Froch would have preferred for Groves to win and then The winner fight him but that never happened.

Froch has a big ego he retired at the right time , but as with most fighters they never
can see they are past there best.
Carl Froch has looked after his money, unlike a lot of fighters, he does not really
need to fight he wants to fight.

I don't think he actually wanted to retire. He started late in the game and if anyone is concerned about conditioning its him. And he's never been shit kicked. Maybe diapers are giving him the return rash but at least he's a guy that will fight anybody and its not as if he was shot. Perhaps he feels a genuine second wind.
