For those of you who have never been in the limelight and then retired in and then hear those yearning sirens at night when you are sleeping in the quiet from 30 miles away in the distance cajoling you to come back and you can feel the lights over your head and the crowd roaring your name believe me it is not so easy after you have made the decision to quit to avoid the temptation to come back again and again and again as orderly annoying as it is to the general public it is quite a normal thing and I do not think they are doing it on purpose just to annoy the crap out of us. There's no question that Carl Froch will fight again there's no question that Floyd Mayweather fight again there's no question that these people will not come back again and again look at Roy Jones fighting again now. Rocky Marciano himself was in training 3 times after he retired want to fight anymore Johansson wants to fight that Cuban guy Valdez from Florida and once for a week in a potential match in 1961 with Sonny Liston. What made Rocky Marciano so great was that he did not tweeted and announce it all over Facebook and Twitter to annoy the crap out of us but we only found out 20 years later when he admitted it on an interview that he was in training 3 times have his retirement. He didn't harass the crap out of the public with announcements that he was and then was not and then change his mind and went back again but these idiots do now

    LOL!

Agreed, no matter the profession- those who make it to the top don't know when to call it quits. For fucks sake the Rolling Stones are still touring, why?

Froch will comeback and will probably fight De Gale. Froch would have preferred for Groves to win and then The winner fight him but that never happened.

They want your @$$ beat because upsets make news. News brings about excitement, excitement brings about ratings. The objective is to bring you up to the tower and tear your @$$ down. And if you don't believe that, you're crazy.

Interesting, given your handle, to hear you say that Marcianos cv is garbage and that the great thing about him is that he doesn't use twitter or facebook. I think the evidence clearly supports your opinion. I'm glad to see you being so rationale.

I don't think he actually wanted to retire. He started late in the game and if anyone is concerned about conditioning its him. And he's never been shit kicked. Maybe diapers are giving him the return rash but at least he's a guy that will fight anybody and its not as if he was shot. Perhaps he feels a genuine second wind. I hope he comes back at 175 and goads Stevenson the dandy into a fight. Maybe he'd get the winner of Pascal/Kovalev. Could also be about the money and feeling. Maybe he could scrap whats his name that won a tournament once close to 6 years ago and looks a little ripe for the taking.

This world needs more Carl Froch's not less.

We need Froch at his best not an old half hearted person just in it for the money and ego.

One of greatest CVs in heavyweight history. Let's take a look. Before Marciano fought Jersey Joe Walcott for the heavyweight championship of planet Earth Rocky Marciano knocked out several of the top ranking heavyweights who are all bigger than he was in height and weight and reach and had much more experience than he. Let's take a look at some of the names on a Rocky Marciano's fantastic resume. Before he was heavyweight champion he soundly destroyed Rex Lane, Harry Kid Matthews , Joe Louis , Carmine Vingo, Roland Lastarzsa, Lee Savold.....these were tough bastards as tough and talented as Mike Weaver or Pinklon Thomas or Jerry Quarry
