What is your favorite tea?
How do you take it and how often?
Re: What is your favorite tea?
When I was younger I was a proper 'tea belly' I couldn't get enough of the stuff, I remember when a bird was staying with me for a while and she couldn't believe how much of the stuff I drank 'I'm just gunna go and get that cd, do you want a cup of tea' I'm just going for a shower, dya want a cupper' I'm taking the bins out, do you want a drink' I'm going to bed do you want fancy a brew' she went fucking potty at me the once because she wanted a batman injection and I asked if I could have a cup of tea first.
Yeah that relationship didn't last long, I only really drink coffe now though for some strange reason, when I was at my worst I would get home from work at about 5:45pm and drink 7 or 8 mugs before I went to bed, fucking animal when it came to tea.
Re: What is your favorite tea?
Haha Batman injection.

Should I believe Batman, that was a lot of tea? Apparently, his girlfriend didn't care for those tea colored injections. ;D

I have Indian tea, chai, it takes a lot of effort to make and is very filling as well as healty because of the herbs put into it.
For this you will need
1. Indian Tea (you can get this at any indian shops) you need lipton green label and Brooke Bond red label make sure its not tea bags mix these together.
2. Sugar
3. Milk
4. Ginger
5. Tea Strainer
6. Pot
How to Make Indian Tea (a.k.a Chai)
Re: What is your favorite tea?
Haha, that's the noob way to make chai @Master !!

This is the exact stuff I use. It is whole cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, black pepper, corriander and cloves. You crush it a little bit, simmer at a low boil for 15-20 minutes, then add your black tea and leave it another 5 or so, and then steamed milk and some honey last. Delicious.
Re: What is your favorite tea?
As a kid we lived on sun tea. Random giant jars sitting over the lawn full of tangerines or pineapple. Keep in mind the tea gap from the States compared to..anywhere really ;D has to be massive. I felt I won the lottery receiving a box of Earl grey this Christmas! Very good. I drink store bought chai and some hot orange tea. You guys listing ingredients are top alchemists to me ;D
Re: What is your favorite tea?
I had a girlfriend who used to drink green tea. Gunpowder green tea.

It's shit. It's supposed to be good for you though. I stopped drinking anything like tea or coffee when I moved back from America and I haven't missed it.
Re: What is your favorite tea?
If you pour boiling water over green tea it kills ALL of the polyphenols and is no longer any good for you, fun fact. Agree that gunpowder is shit also. I drink this sencha wild cherry stuff sometimes that is quite good.
Re: What is your favorite tea?
Although a few ways to spell it, wulong oolong or olong it is my favorite of teas

So, the Indians are in south Korea as well, do they run your gas stations. They run our gas stations and subway sandwich shops and convenience stores

I think there are some but they only work in factories. I import all my tea from the colonial motherland who likely pillage it from overseas. You can buy it here, but I am not paying 7 dollars for 25 tea bags when I can import a 1000 bags for 50 dollars. I think the farmers deserve more, but I am not helping anyone getting ripped off by the supermarket. I have to think global in this respect.

Same here lol, most actually make a very good living though. You can make more than the ceo of the red cross easily, if you own a successful franchise.

Re: What is your favorite tea?
I like all kinds of tea. Green Tea or Jasmine Tea after a meal, especially if it is Chinese, great for digestion. Black Indian Tea (although they grow it here in the UK now as well). Roibush at night, Earl Grey with breakfast. Always Earl Grey with Breakfast, whether that is wit porridge and fruit, Marmalade on toast, cold meats and cheese..always Earl Grey. Nice and astringent after fish and chips as well to wash the fat away from your gob.
I love the ritual. Even if you eschew leaves, you can still use a teapot and even without a teapot you have to leave your bag in the mug. You can't rush it, it isn't instant and is all the better for it.
Spot of milk, no sugar.
Cheers.

Amazing! LOL You would definitely disapprove watching me toss a green tea bag, sweetner, and bottled water into a coffee mug, then zapping it for 2 minutes in my microwave. I'm a heathen when it comes tea, I reckon! ;D
Re: What is your favorite tea?
China Da Hong Pao tea without milk.
English breakfast tea with milk.
