Bet Eddie Hearn will be seething. 😁
Unless Frank is finally going to use the BT Connection, I can't help thinking this is a terrible decision by Frampton.
He needs to take a leaf out of George Groves's book. He can't stand Eddie Hearn, but he'll do business with him because he knows he'll make good money. Frampton should be the same.
But , if by some sort of Craziness, it's not all about the Money with Frampton and he would rather stick by some sort of principles, then good luck to him.
There's only one reason he could have signed with this mob
Josh Warrington here we come - Easy fight. Big money.
Can Frampton beat Cruz again?
I don't think along these lines. He doesn't sign a fighter to necessarily put him in with another of his top guys straight away, it's a bit short sighted. He then loses earning potential for one of his guys.
What is likely however, is he uses Warrington to attract Selby, guaranteeing Selby the Frampton fight if he beats Warrington. That way Selby gets 2 big paydays, Warren gets 2 big events , not withstanding what happens after that.
Don't think it makes sense for Warren to invest in Warrington and build up the Leeds thing just to use him as a tune up merchant.
I could be wrong of course.
Frampton specifically chose Warren not the other way round.
Warrington just scraped through by the skin of his teeth against a shot Kiko, not even Frank will prevent him from getting beat, thiss weight is chock full of cracking propspects let alone the proven world-class mob. Plus Warrington is a complete and utter nobody outside his terrific Leeds fanbase. And i'm not talking about the fight happening next.
Frampton will get an easy touch in Belfast and Warrington is facing Ceylan already. Next year in one of their football stadiums.

But what I'm saying is Frank could use Warrington as the bait to tempt Selby, Warrington gets his payday, Selby gets a decent payday with a relatively easy fight (imo) , but there are clauses that if he wins,he fights Frampton in a summer stadium fight in Ireland.
In that Scenario, all the fighters get the best deals possible and Frank gets more shows, more dough!
I'm no expert mind, but if I was Warren, that's what I would be looking to do.
Yeah I get what you're saying, Warren feeds Warrington to Selby with the Frampton fight next.
However, Warrington left Hearn after swerving the Selby fight (he - his team - admitted turning down the fight down several times, Hearn was always trying to make it). Not sure why they'd take it now?
And Frampton could have fought Selby on any platform (not now he's with Warren).
Be good if that happened though.
Warren is starting to build a good stable of fighters again plus he's got the platforms to do it.
He's long enough in the tooth and this could be good for Frampton $$$
Carl Frampton: Belfast boxer expected to fight in home city in November

Carl Frampton's first contest with new promoter Frank Warren is being tipped to take place in Belfast in November.
Frampton announced his link-up with Warren on Sunday and the duo will be in Belfast on Wednesday to reveal details of the ex-world champion's next bout.
Belfast's SSE Arena is available on Saturday 18 November and there is speculation that will be the date.
"I am thrilled we have the opportunity to showcase someone of his stature," Warren said on his website.
"Carl is a massive attraction in the sport and one of just a few where tickets are like gold dust whenever they get in the ring.
"The signing of Carl gives us a real foothold in Belfast, which is a great territory and one where we will continue to look to build up the local scene."
Frampton split with long-time promoter Barry McGuigan last month three weeks after the late postponement of his scheduled comeback fight in Belfast.
The bout was called off after his Mexican opponent Andres Gutierrez slipped in his hotel shower.
Over the weekend, Frampton, 30, said that he believed a promotional deal with Warren was the best means to secure the world title fight at Windsor Park that he craves.
Frampton won the IBF and WBA versions of the world super-bantamweight title before beating Leo Santa Cruz in July 2016 to clinch the WBA featherweight title.
However, Santa Cruz avenged his defeat last January to regain the featherweight title and Frampton has not fought since then.

Frampton is a very good fighter, rock solid at everything.
Has anyone else noticed how heavy he seems to be for his height? It's weird. He is heavily muscled and quite stocky, but is very short compared to other fighters at the weigh, especially now he has moved up.
I thought Santa Cruz's extra reach posed Carl some real issues in the most recent fight. Leo quite cleverly outboxed th shorter guy without engaging in a war like the the first fight.
Looking at Carl's physique, he shouldn't have jumped up the weight. Does he struggle with making weight?
Yeah , he does struggle at the weight. He was short , even at SBW, but insisted he couldn't do the weight anymore, so went up to FW. I really thought that would be his undoing against Santa Cruz in the 1st fight, but he fought very skilfully.
In the 2nd fight , LSC Made the necessary adjustments, and maybe now has learnt enough to have his number. But I've dismissed Frampton too many times and been proved wrong.
He even came in a pound over at FW last time out.
Incidentally, the gym gossip is that he left McGuigan because he was still owed a lot of money from his last two fights ..... which is exactly the reason Barry left his manager and sued him
Yeah , Barry would've paid! I fucking said word for word YEARS AGO this would happen. Barry was a fighter, he is not a businessman. He proved it before and he's proved it again. Eubank Sr. is no different.
Why do these dumbass boxers who can't manage their own finances think they can manage other people's for a living? Stick to what you know.
You don't see Eddie Hearn trying to be a Boxer do you?
Frampton is on about going up to super feather interesting not sure about that.
Carl Frampton: Ex-world champion to face Mexican Horacio Garcia in comeback bout
Former two-weight world champion Carl Frampton will face Mexican Horacio Garcia in his comeback bout in Belfast on 18 November.
The fight will be Frampton's first contest since moving from long-time manager Barry McGuigan's Cyclone Promotions to Frank Warren's stable.
Garcia, 27, has lost three of his 37 pro bouts including a defeat by Japan's former world champion Hozumi Hasegawa.
The Mexican beat compatriot Diuhl Olguin in Las Vegas three weeks ago.
That victory avenged a defeat by Olguin in July.
Garcia won his opening 29 professional contests before losing a unanimous decision in May 2015 against Hasegawa, who was a previous WBC world bantamweight world champion and later went on to clinch the WBC super-bantamweight belt.
After drawing a North American Boxing Federation title bout against Erik Ruiz in May 2016, Garcia suffered the second defeat of his career against highly-rated Joseph Diaz last December.
Diaz is ranked in the top 10 by all four major boxing governing bodies but Garcia is not rated in the top 15 by the WBC, WBA, IBF or WBO.
Frampton, 30, has not fought since losing the WBA featherweight title to Leo Santa Cruz in Las Vegas last January as the Mexican avenged his defeat by the Northern Irishman six months earlier.
The Belfast man's scheduled comeback fight in late July with another Mexican Andres Gutierrez was postponed at the 11th hour after his opponents was injured while slipping in a hotel shower.
Less than a month later, Frampton announced his split with long-time manager McGuigan and his link-up with Warren was announced last week.
Speaking on Wednesday, Frampton said that he was "excited" by the prospect of his 10-round contest with Garcia.
"He's a typical Mexican warrior, he's tough and he's game and he'll try and put it on me in front of my home crowd," said Frampton.
"He has never been stopped in his career and has only lost to world class opposition, excluding the loss against Olguin.
"It will be good to get a fight in against a live opponent before I get one of the big boys in the new year."
Frampton's fight at Belfast's SSE Arena will top a bill which will include Jamie Conlan's IBF world super-flyweight contest with Filipino Jerwin Ancajas plus the WBO bantamweight bout between South Africans Zolani Tete and Siboniso Gonya.
The undercard will also see Ireland's twice Olympic medallist Paddy Barnes defending his WBO European flyweight title.

it was never important who Warren put him in with this time, because he was always going to get a pass . but the next fight has to be , and I quote him "one of the big boys". the way Frank Warren works , I'm not holding my breath I have to say.
It will also be interesting to see if he makes weight after last time.
Why couldn't he fight the guy who slipped in the shower last time out?
