    You sure?? because I thought you need the Wraps on the hand as well as the Gloves to hit punching
    bags.

    its been my experience with freestanding bags that they tend to be a lot softer anyways, so i dont see why it would pose any significant threat

    If it feels good to u then do it. That's basically a MMA glove.

    I know alot of guys that like to hit the bag with them-(sometimes pre wrapped & taped. Sometimes with just the gloves.) But they're mostly MMA guys. If ur goin to fight with this type of glove then u should definitely work it into training with them IMO. If ur specifically training in boxing then it's not a good idea to use these gloves.

    It's safer for ur hands to use a 16oz. glove with some handwraps. But ur question was "would this work?"----Yes. Goodluck in training.
