    8 x 3 min rounds.
Trainer told us to treat it as a fight see how much we had.
Alan D (ur very own HitmanD) 6'1''-72kg,
Orthodox trainin all summer with Irish Pro's

    Pat D 5'11''-78kg,Southpaw
Training all summer in Undisputed in San Diego.

    Round1:
Snappy opening. I punched gloves, stopping him from setting himself. Landed 2-3 jabs to the body. Pace was high from the start. I was a little unsettled and he caught me enough to take the round.
    Round2:
A round more professional than the first, i landed the jab to the body consistently and blocked well on the shoulder, he landed a big right hook, that was met with a stright right that rocked him. My round.
    Round3:
I attempted to be more open with my shots and throw combinations as i have a problem of not letting go against leftys. Got caught a number of times but still took the round.
    Round4:
A heavily competitive round with me landing a great left hook to the body and introducing the right straight to the body. His jab came into effect but i was happy as i would have done enough to win an amateur contest.
    Round5:
At this point his conditioning in San Diego became evident, he was brutally strong and he took this one. He caught me with both a great right hook to the body and a straight to the head and I was forced to box on the move, he took the round and we both were noted to be sweating heavily. Began to turn Southpaw.
    Round6:
This round was agin fiercely competitive particularily in terms of bodywork, i started the going witha hook to each of his ribs and he landed heavily with a right hook to the body and a low blow. I retaliated with some vicious work upstairs and was quite happy to see him rocked. Draw round no doubt. I switch hit a lot.
    Round7:
A straight left to the body put me in recovery for the whole round. Hand on my heart i have never taken such a beating as my jab disintegrated to mush and i took heavy hits to head and body. Went Winky wright for a while simply to try grab a break, was hurt, taste of blood in my mouth and in general go fucked up.
    Round8:
A revenge round pounded him to the body to begin, threw four punch joe Cal combo's straight rights and jabs all lande for me, caused him to turn his back a couple of times from head punches. he was gassed. Beaut of a left hook landed and i finished the round landin 6.

Bell went and dropped on my back, effort we put in was admired by all.

Hardest spar of my entire life.

Not bad huh besides what your body is feeling right now. I bet who ever was there to watch was happy to that. I bet having some pro sparring helped a bunch.

I'm not sure if this can help you but If you notice that your opponent is overcommiting with some of his shots where they turn their body into it, or for w/e reason he's exposing his back to you, then you know with some work you can probably sneak a hard left into their liver. There are a lot of neat set-ups worth working on.

Cool Chris. I caught my trainer last week pointing at my body hook n sayin money shot las week, so im workin on tricks with it. Slippin the southpaw jab leaves me a bit low so im just ducking it now.

Pats literally twice the boxer he was last year and as for me im proud to say il be there every minute of every round givin n takin whatever.

Confidence is also reinforced as my chin can take some unreal shots n i still haven't bin down. Found myself staring at a pro gym website today, i think im nearly ready.

When you think about it, you're practically training like a pro, sparring with pros, and to top it off you now have all the time that you need to make a go at it. It's up to you man, whenever you want to move into the next gear go for it.

I emailed greynotsoold a few days ago to wish him happy birthday, he's doing fine now he says he was sick a couple weeks ago. Maybe we'll see him around here soon. If I were you it wouldn't be a bad idea to expand on set ups for the left hook to try to pick grey, Tabin, or Andre's brain. You can even even start a topic set ups for the left hook to the liver which would be neat.

On a side note, I think Castillo was made for Hatton. You see how Castillo throws his shots which exposes his body like that. Hatton being of course the kind of guy that likes to counter hard to the body, it was perfect move to sign a contract to fight Castillo. I can almost feel that liver shot just thinking about it.

If you hear a voice within you saying that I am not a painter, then by all means paint and that voice will be silenced.

Agreein with ya totally, i feel even a younger castillo (cant say prime as castillo was lw at prime,) would not match Rick as his style just suited ricky so well.

Im frustrated with the amateurs, so much dilly dallying and politics going on for nothing. I want to be in the gym everyday, working as hartd as possible and learning. I'm raw as hell, but my stamina is up and i hurt guys with every shot. Wanna get in there and compete with real fighters not guys that train three times a week and feel they've done somethin special.

And Chris, thanks for all of your encouragement n tips all the time, i truely appreciate all the advice n help.

You're the real fighter donny not me, you're walking the walk. Right now I'm in boxing limbo just sponging off anything I can get my hands on. I can't really say I was in a hard sparring session and now my pee looks like the color of kool-aid.

Whatever you decide to do my best wishes go out to you. There's always room for another hitman in boxing.
