    Default STarting out- help please

I'm 14 and pretty much just starting out with a speed bag. If someone could tell me what to be doing for starters tell me, and don't say your too young you might hurt your hands or w/e d: /.

I've been stretching first of course, but then i do 400 3 bounce repswith my left hand, then the same with my right. then I'll do about 500 LEFT LEFT RIGHT RIGHT. Then just to give my arms a little more ill do 100 with each each hand on 1 bounce. And if my wraps aren't long enough to tape inbetween my fingers, should i get new ones d: ).

I'm not a speed bag person, but I heard this is a dependable site- speedbagcentral.com

I prefer the mexican handwraps because they are longer, allow me to make a tighter fist and offer more protection than regular wraps. For all it's worth you oughtta get a pair yourself, you'll see why other people like it, and see what it can do for you.

your wraps don't HAVE to go between your fingers
though i prefere it and alot others do.
some people prefere not to wrap between the fingers, cuz it can cut off your blood circulation of your fingers.

DON'T GIVE UP KID!!! WRAP YOUR HANDS THE WAY YOU FEEL COMFORT IN THE GYM, BUT ON FIGHT NIGHT LET A PRO HANDLE IT OR YOU MIGHT BREAK YOU HANDS W/ THE SMALL GLOVES. AS FOR SPEED BAG; TRY THIS FOR THREE ROUNDS DELA HOYA STYLE.1. AWAYS STAND BLADED WITH LEAD LEG IN FRONT FOR GOOD HABITS.2. GET A RYTHM GOING FRONT KNUKLE BACK KNUKLE; REPEAT THE SAME WITH OTHER HAND.3. SWING YOU HIPS WAS THIS RYTHM.3. WHEN OTHER HAND IS WORKING KEEP OPPOSITE HAND AT TEMPLE AND CHIN TUCKED FOR GOOD DEFENSIVE HABITS.4. ALSO REMEMBER TO KEEP ARMS WITH ELBOWS DOWN LIKE THE LETTER "H"(WINKY RIGHT STYLE). 5. IF YOUR ARMS COME OUT LIKE AN "A"; YOUR TOO EXPOSED.

THE SPEED BAG IS FOR SPEED AND RYTHM, BUT WITH GOOD HABITS YOU CAN MAKE DEFENSE SECOND NATURE. OH YEAH, IT THREE ROUNDS STRAIGHT THROUGH THE BREAK BELLS; YOUR SHOUDERS WELL BE IN GREAT CONDITION........
