    Default creatine

    i have bought couple of bottles of this stuff in tablet form as was on offer at the shop, it says take 3 tabs b4 workout & 3 more after training, does anyone know if i only take it days that i train? also i heard u should take plenty of water thru out the day when on these? any help would be great as doesnt say anything on the bottles regarding thsi

    i use to take it in powder form mate, yes u only take it before and after u work out, i use to munch it every day tho for no reason what so ever, u will find urself drinking plenty more fluid than normal, its safe stuff to use and i had good results with it, if u need to no anything else i will do my best to help u out mate

    i'm only familiar w/ the powder form.. you cycle it for 3-4 weeks or so..

    usually there is a loading phase where you take a lot at the beginning..

    you'll gain a lot of water weight, but it's a good boost for the beginning of your workout.. i wouldn't stay on it too long, though.

    Take the biggest dose after you workout mate. Your cells are more receptive to nutrients after exercise so the uptake is greater. Take it everyday and try to split the dose up as small as possible. For example if you were taking 5grams per day try to split it into 2 tabs morning, 1 tab pre-workout and 3 tabs post-workout. You want to be taking the majority when your cells are most receptive to nutrients and those times are

    after an over-night fast with some carbohydrates
    after exercise again with some carbohydrates

    I'm guessing the tabs are 500mg? Don't worry too much about a loading phase as it's not really necessary. Drink plenty of water and cycle off every couple of months. You should get some decent results.

    cheers guys, Ono i have only been taking the tablets on the day i train, do i really have to take everyday? as i really struggle to take in the water required

    Iv'e used it in powder form but guess principle is the same. At first, say for 4 or 5 days, you should take it whether training or not. The 'loading' phase. Then just on days you are training. But you really should try to take on a lot of water, its quite important. Also, i'd say don't use it for a longer cycle then about 3 weeks.
