The more I watch that fight, I think Floyd would have been way better served to simply keep that fight in the middle of the ring, I still feel there was a want on his part to let Oscar throw punches in bunches with him on the ropes so he could tire Oscar out, but at not point could Oscar truly compete with Floyd in the middle of the ring, and I think he could have dominated that fight similarly to how he did from the 9th on if he would have been more aggressive because Oscar was more focused on blocking shots than he was countering, and Floyd could have eventually created openings, but he never forced Oscar onto his heels enough which he did against MOsley, and neither Oscar or MOsley could fight their best unless they could come forward on the balls of their feet.
He also conceded real estate far easily to Hatton without using enough lateral movement. I think he just planned to tire them out, which wasn't as effective as simply fighting them would have been for him.
