ODLH should have won that fight if he wasn't gun shy... As timid as Floyd's performance was, I think DLH was equally timid by what he has been capable of...

Honestly as someone who has the hand in the pie of every one of Floyd's fights after that one, for Floyd to keep is ZERO means a LOT more money in ODLH's pocket...
Just saying, DLH had as many incentives to not win that fight as he had to win it.... I think DLH could have, and was capable of doing more in that fight to win it....

It could be said perhaps Floyd was doing something a little different to make DLH's jab less effective, but DLH to me, was going easy on Floyd,,, at least when it was coming down to the business end of winning later rounds and taking the fight for himself...

The reason ODLH stopped using the jab, is because he was getting countered over the top of it. He had been stunned a few times in the fight, and also because his known stamina problems come into play.

I think its silly to say he didn't try his hardest, to win the fight. Because your taking the credit away from Floyd Mayweather Jr, and your also suggesting foul play somewhat.

The fight wasn't that close anyway, the closest i've had it is 7-4-1 for Floyd Mayweather Jr. I've also had it 8-4 for Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Also lastly when is the last time ODLH got a second wind in a fight ? probably not since the Fernando Vargas fight.

Remember it was the only time Floyd ventured at this weight and it was a couple of years ago, only now do i feel he is a full blown welterweight and comfortable at the welterweight. Floyd could have got hurt early if he stood in the middle of the ring.

There are things guys don't do after every floyd fight, i think it has little to do with what they do or don't do as much as it is floyd not letting them. No one seems to try their hardest against Floyd, they stop doing what brought them success for 30 seconds or 2 rounds and then completely intentionally stop trying.. because winning 2 rounds against Floyd is so great if u dont do it anymore its cause you stopped trying

Floyd was understandly cautious about standing his ground early because it was new territory at 154. With hindsight yes he should have stood his ground more and would have won by bigger margins if he did but tactically before the fight it would have seemed like a bad idea especially when he has the edge in quicker feet. Towards the end of teh fight he was setting his feet and letting go.

I'd like to see him fight Pac the same way he met Shane but the ferocity and speed of Pacs attack may cause Floyd to re position abit more than he'd like to. Either way Floyd wins. If Paul wins tonight thats a good fight to look forward to.

That means you gave Mayweather only one round from the 1st to the seventh? What about the first round, or the fourth and fifth?
