Default Promoters putting on in house fights

Golden Boy are saying If Marquez can't get Pac in the ring next ( If he beats Katisidis ) they are looking to put him in with Guerrero who the fuck wants to see that fight? Not me!!

Arum has been doing it with Pac now Golden Boy seem to be doing the same thing. What do you think?

    BULL shit!

In house rubbish, we want to see the best fights, not the easiest to arrange.

I'm happy enough with what Pac's done in-house, I just don't wanna see any more from now on because there is no one else in-house to fight that counts for much. Get the fucking Floyd fight done.

If marquez stays at 135, which I think would be best for him, there just aren't many other options aside from guererro. Perhaps soto or funeka and that is really about it...He shouldn't move up to 140 because 135 is probably as high as he should be. the mayweather fight was fought at 143 and we know he looked less than spectacular in the fightto put it mildly, sure some of that is down to how good pbf is but part of it had top be jmm's weight and smaller size, he's just not big enough to go above 135. I honestly don't think jmm- guererro would be a bad fight at all both got decent pop to their punches and think it would actually be quite exciting.

He didn't look good against the top competition at 147 and I agree 147 is too big of a step up.

However, I like his chances against some of the top guys at 140. Not to say that 135 may not be his best weight right now. I like his chances against Devon Alexander seeing how much trouble Alexander had with a good boxer in Kotelnik. At this point, I favor Khan over him, but that is not to say it wouldn't be a good fight. Same goes for Bradley. And I mean Maidana and him would be a good fight too. Right?

Oh Maidana/jmm would probably be a hell of a fight, and yes he probably would give devon hell especially cause jmm punches a lot harder than kotelnik. I'm not saying he wouldn't be able to compete with and beat some of the top 140's I just don't think it would be in his best interest to do so. He's like what 36/37 all those guys mentioned are young guns and to go in the ring against them with even a small disadvantage would be stupid imo, like why put himself in that position is kind of what I'm saying.

I'm with you i don't want to see JMM-Guerrero, but who does he fight when he beats Katsidis. I think we can all agree he won't get Pacquiao. His choices are Soto, guererro, or moving up to 140. And with the top 4 already fighting each other, that pretty much leaves Zab Judah?

Don't get me started on In-House Promotions, I could rant all day on that shit........ I think if anything, aside from sorting Alphabet orgs, a commission should be set up to regulate to arrangement of fights. Main culprits are Arum In-House promotions, Golden Boy and Frank Warren. Its no wonder you end up with fighters, especially in the UK, like Moore and Murray grafting like hell, floating around either without fights or with shit fights for an entire career while guys like Chisora and Mitchell get the shots undeserved and seriously early in the game.

You have promoters like DiBella, Maloney, Hennesey, Shaw and Goosen grafting for fights. Just imagine putting this stuff in the context of the Olympics. Just like if your not a big In-House promoter you wouldn't be getting a slot to compete at the Olympics and would be relegated to fighting for shit Indoor Championships and the like. Its just no wonder really when you think about it that all the alphabet organisations are in existence. If they were'nt there, then only select fighters from the previosuly named promotions would be able to fight for a title.

I say balls to all the titles, maybe we could start some kind of campaign," F**K THE BELTS, THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE", just like the highlander always said......
