What made you think of this matchup Master?

It's might have been possible that Spinks could run, potshot, (like he did against Holmes) and avoid getting KTFO by 'Old' George, but if Big George connected, it would have been lights out.

Would probably go the distance.

Because Foreman at that point was a bit laborious and predictable, I think Spinks would be given enough chances or warnings to make the choice to fight more negatively and drag the fight out.
How effective at doing it he would be, was probably demonstrated a bit in the Holmes fights but obviously Foreman is a whole different kettle of fish.

Assuming the judges are nice; I'd go with Foreman by a couple of points.

It's might have been possible that Spinks could run, potshot, (like he did against Holmes) and avoid getting KTFO by 'Old' George, but if Big George connected, it would have been lights out.

I remembered the punches Spinks landed on Cooney which were fast and eventally devastating. I thought if he landed them against George he would keep him at bay and win a comfortable decision. George hated movers and if Morrison could win on points and Shultz then surely Spinks could do it too. Holmes could not land a big shot on Spinks too.

I think if Tyson had Spinks fearful? Old George would have had him catatonic prior to the fight. Foreman by DQ during the introductions when Spinks refuses to come out of his corner to receive final instructions.
