    Default Sad day in boxing

Pretty clear now that the warrior who once went to war with Shane Mosley, Zab Judah, Ricardo Torres and others no longer exists. There is no warrior left in him. Warrior Cotto is now Track Meet Cotto. That performance was extremely disappointing. Yes he got the win. But anybody that thinks he showed heart is a fucking dumb ass. Margarito was coming off a brutal loss and an injury. Lot of rumors that he might be shot. The chance to massacre him is there on a silver platter. What Cotto do? He runs the whole fight. He spend all this time accusing Margarito. Saying he did this. He did that. You would think he would of gone out there looking to destroy the man who supposedly put his life in danger. But no. He instead shows up in the ring wearing his new pair of Usain Bolt's and proceeds to go out and fight like him. And to make it worse he cries like a bitch afterwards. Are you fucking kidding me? There's no crying in baseball. What the fuck makes fools think there's crying in boxing? Sad day in boxing indeed

That the way it works in the grammer world? Period usage is considered bad ass? Imagine that. Learn something new every day. It's moronic ass fuck. But it's still new

I agree with you on some points. It seemed around the last 2 or 3 rounds of the fight that we were beginning to see the " Full Retreat Cotto" . Moving from ropes and then trading with Tony and then moving to the other ropes.

Did I call you any names? No I did not. Must of hit a nerve. Which can only mean 2 things. You know it's true that your boy showed no heart and you don't have the balls to admit it. Or like Cotto you too cried like a bitch at the end of his hollow victory.

I used to think that somewhere beneath that cyber tough guy personna was a somewhat boxing knowledgeable individual. Now I see I was wrong. You hide behind your keyboard..... talk shit about women in general.... spout your racist, ignorant bullshit..... and even succeed in intimidating some of the young, impressionable posters here with your gangsta avatar, and your street 'hood talk.

When in all actuality, you're just a bigoted, ignorant, ranting and raving idiot, who probably gets no action and also probably has hidden sexual identity issues.

I stupidly thought you'd be a bigger man than you've showed, and come out and admit you were wrong about Cotto. But in your bigoted stupidity, you dump on Cotto for fighting a masterful fight, and refusing to go toe-to-toe with the bigger Margacheato scumbag, until the middle rounds, when he then decided to trade with the man.

If you can't appreciate the great fight for what it was, then you're most stupid than I thought.

Cotto was and is smarter. Smart beats dumb, its good boxing.
He was hitting Margo comming in alot better than margs was hitting him going forward so you may as well write something up about the warrior is dead for Margarito.
Same thing happened with JMM and PAc Juan was catching him coming forwards because that takes more skills. Same thing in this case.
I thought MArgarito was going to over power him too, but the warrior
    is finished, MArgarito is finished.

Margarito was the one left crying like a bitch hahaha, Cotto stood and traded with the powerless phoney Mexican once he had the fight in the bag, Cotto rocked Margarito back and forth Tony didn't flinched him, Margarito plodded forward and couldn't keep Cotto on the ropes, Miguel pushed his bitch back in to the ropes than just unloaded on him

the sad part is that any entertaining or "great" win that Tony Margarito ever had in his entire career is now without a doubt labeled with a * right next to it, and yes that even means his wins over Cintron hahaha, for all we know the piece of shit probably even needed the wraps to get Golden Fucking Johnson out of there, again explain to me how the piece of shit is 1-3 since Plastergate

You not the only one. I too was mistaken. Thought you were an actual boxing fan. Who had no problem telling it like it is. No matter if the fighter in question was a personal favorite you'll still call it for what it is. Mistake on my part. You're not a boxing fan. You nothing but a mindless Cotto groupie. You ignore the facts and suck his dick instead. How you can take pride in that cheap win is beyound me. Shows how much you really lust for him. Cotto showed no heart. The man talked and talked how Magarito put his life in danger. Did he pay him back? Returned the favor? No. He should of destroyed him. And he didn't. Now if you think he did than well you pretty much a lost cause already. So I guess it doesn't mean anything

That's just sad when you have to lie for your man. Margarito didn't want the fight stopped and never shed a tear. You really need me to provide pics of Cotto crying like a little hoe? Say the word and I'll gladly provide them for you.

As for him being 1-3 since. Easy. He's shot. He's done as a fighter. Should retire. Take the 10 million he made in his last 2 fights and do whatever the fuck he wants

There's a reason very few people question his wins beyound Cotto. To question his past wins means one is saying that every single commision and inspector who checked his wraps missed them. That's a lot missing by a lot of people. Moronic thinking. Nobody believes that. Minus boricuas that is

You know, I was somewhat disappointed in Cotto's performance too - especially early on. I also thought his gameplan was going to lead to disaster, but I was totally wrong about that.

While he soundly outboxed Margarito and dominated the fight, he did not look like someone who was out for revenge, just someone looking for a victory.

I think a lot of the talk in the pre-fight build up led a lot of people to think that Cotto was going to try and hurt Margarito. Aside from targeting Margarito's right eye once it began to swell, he didn't really fight with any malice.

Cotto did spend a lot of the fight running and he did look genuinely intimidate by his opponent. He also dominated the fight.

VD you're a bitch haha suck the dick of anyone who's red white and green (well not in this case seeing how Tony is a FAKE Mexican), it's been a sad year for you, we (PR) took our hits and didn't put up bullshit excuses, Tony isn't shot, he just never was ever any good without the plaster, you can bitch, moan, and make up your own little stories, but seeing how you love to pull out "wins on paper" even if it goes down as a TKO11 W for Tony, Cotto just one upped his ass and got the same win, one round earlier, while pitching a shut out, it's boxing dipshit, not stand in front and trade, you're lucky you're little boyfriend Rios had Murray in there with him and not the likes of hell any top guy at 140 including Khan, cause that boy is about to be as "shot" as Tony is, Guerrero beats that pussy all night long, man up and shut up Venereal Disease

See thats fair enough CFH, and actually worth responding to... But bottom line is there was going to be no sweeter revenge for Cotto THAN a victory, and clearly he wasn't going to beat Margarito going to war no matter how shot he may have been. If a guy is fighting off the backfoot but still landing good shots and winning rounds then the onus is on his opponent to make a fight of it, Margo wasn't able to do that for the vast majority of the fight and Cotto should take a lot of pride in that.
