Default Wilder..wlads worst nightmare in 3 rounds?

Yes we know he is green and needs to be seriously tested in the late rounds but surely Wlad is well aware deontay will improve and a possible match is looming before 2015.

In a strange way (whether you like him or not) Wlad is improving as well and his confidence win after win against these opponents must be doing something for him.

But as we all know every opponent cannot seem to fluster Wlad and cant get past that jab or are intimidated of the in shape frame and dominant statue.

Deontay has knockout power and if he can control the swinging he will be a dangerous opponent for Wlad within 3 rounds. These are not the opponents that Wlad likes and im looking forward to seeing how this all plays out untill there forced to face each other..

First, had Wilder been brought along at least a semi-normal pace, this fight might have already happened, or at least be a lot closer than 2015. Don't know how much of this is on Wilder and how much it's on his handlers, who undoubtedly have at least 90% of the blame.

We can all sit here and say Wilder's gonna be the next HW champ... or we can all sit here and claim that Wilder won't do shit once he's tested... but it's all conjecture at this time. None of us know, 'cause none of us has seen Wilder against a halfway decent opponent. If only damn Audley would've lasted a couple more rounds, we might have seen a little more of Wilder's skills (or lack thereof).

From the little I've seen, I would venture to say that if they start raising the bar like..... NOW..... I've a hunch we may see Wilder vastly improve his game, to go along with his freakish power. He's young and athletic... and obviously has power in both hands.

If Chisora's the next opponent, let's do it!! Sign the damn papers.

Wilder just needs to keep fighting often.

It's taken him 27 fights to fight someone like Audley Harrison ffs. I'm not a fan of Price but it only took him 12 fights to do that. Unless he steps it up significantly soon, Wlad will be long gone by the time he's ready to challenge for a title (assuming he ever is ready).

I think wlad retires without another defeat , wilder has been blasting opponents, but he's yet to fight anyone of note. Not asking he face a top ten guy but hell make it a live body dam it, his level of opposition has been a joke....I mean how long does it take ya to hone your craft, I know he didn't have much amteur experience but he did win a bronze medal, plus marco huck had somethin like ten amateur fights and look who he has fought at cruiser, and even povetkin at heavy. All this makes me think wilders handlers aren't to sure about his chances

Not sure audley could be classified as even a live body the last few years. Also if you're blasting guys out in a round and barely breaking a sweat why not fight every month, I mean I think wlad had something like 20 plus fights in his first two years cause they were all the same type of opposition wilder has been facing for the past 5 years

What fighters does wilder need to beat to get a shot?

I just want to throw out there that it might make sense for Golden Boy to bide their time with Wilder. If the K-Bros retire in the next two or three years, Wilder could be set up to be a worldwide recognized heavyweight attraction because he is American. If Wilder was from Bulgaria we wouldn't even be discussing him much.

To get a shot? How about facing a few non cabbies first, but you know start with lower top twenty guys and then progress. maybe start with dimitrenko, then adamek to get some rounds in cause doubt he's blasting an even faded adamek in less than four or five, then someone like pulev or povetkin. hell fighting that russian that drew with scott on nbc sports a month or two back would be good to, just someone with a dam pulse and a chance.

As Grant was to Lewis... Wilder must fight someone that will take his best shots and stay with him into the later rounds. Kevin Johnson is the perfect foe for him IMO.

And that's a start, imp. But Audley lasted half a round. First big right hand from Wilder and Audley went belly up. Now he needs to start fighting the Furys, the Jennings, the Mitchells, the Prices. Let's start getting this HW picture sorted out before Wlad turns 50 and has to retire.
