I just want to throw out there that it might make sense for Golden Boy to bide their time with Wilder. If the K-Bros retire in the next two or three years, Wilder could be set up to be a worldwide recognized heavyweight attraction because he is American. If Wilder was from Bulgaria we wouldn't even be discussing him much.

I think that's exactly what they are doing, waiting the brothers out. I cant see Vitali going beyond another year but Wlad could go for a few more. I'd like to see Wilder/Haye.

Even if Golden boy is somehow going to coddle him entirely until the Klitchkos retire, there are other guys that could well kick his ass by that point for all we know. I personally think he'll be a kill or be killed fighter if he ever makes it to that level, but if he doesn't fight anyone worth a damn he'll start to regress regardless. He has fought absolute garbage for 5 years and almost 30 fights. I remember after the olympics people basically had the same assesment of him that they do now. THat's a god damn life time for fighters and here we are still wondering if he's anything but a raw puncher.

To get a shot? How about facing a few non cabbies first, but you know start with lower top twenty guys and then progress. maybe start with dimitrenko, then adamek to get some rounds in cause doubt he's blasting an even faded adamek in less than four or five, then someone like pulev or povetkin. hell fighting that russian that drew with scott on nbc sports a month or two back would be good to, just someone with a dam pulse and a chance.

As Grant was to Lewis... Wilder must fight someone that will take his best shots and stay with him into the later rounds. Kevin Johnson is the perfect foe for him IMO.
