Just watching random fights and wanted to see this one again, how the f did Khan survive round 10 against Marcos I think I saw him eat at least like 20 or 30 bombs half of which he didn't see coming...He was dazed for all of the round basically but kept his cool for the most part and didn't go down, showed heart and resolve. In other fights he gets tagged once basically and its bye bye or a knock down, strange. How would a rematch between the two go today at welter?

No question Khan has heart, in the Garcia fight he impressed me just by coming out for the 4th round and trying to fight back with no legs whatsoever. I think there was some chance that would have played out the same way if it had been later in the fight, or even if Garcia hadn't been able to connect big again as he was really getting wild. Neither Garcia or Maidana were exactly intelligent about their attack once they had Amir hurt, granted neither are really down the middle type finishers, a single straight punch might have spelled doom for Khan in that round 10. I think it could well be his chin is better than we think, he just fights tense, gets caught off balance or in bad position and then panics even more once he has been rocked. There's no doubt to me that considering the raw ability he has, he fights stupid and always has.

That was an excellent fight. Khan landing that body shot and surviving that 10th round. Classic fight and now looks like a brilliant victory by Khan.
