This was a terrible decision in the first fight and glad Dave Allen is making some good money from the rematch this weekend.

This is fun and both are great guys.

I’m a bit pissed off I’m Not gonna lie, and I might be wrong , but we’ve been hearing all the usual stuff about Dave Allen being in the best shape ever, and he’s looking ripped in training camp. And then he comes in at a career high weight!
He could’ve done so much more with his career, but just seems like he can’t be arsed.
I’ve nothing against Johnny Fisher, nice guy and showed he’s game, but he’s totally overhyped .
He’s very limited.

Conway v Warburton was a good fight but main event is on now early at 9.30.

Fisher nervous and tentative in the first round. Allen looking dangerous with the right looping hand.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Fisher busier in the second round and Allen not throwing enough.
1-1

Fisher winning the third round with frantic nervous attacks.

Dave Allen knocks out Fisher in round 5. That was a good finish from Allen who was behind but knew he just had to land one of his big punches to hurt Johnny.

They started early didn’t they? I thought ring walk was at 10pm? Just caught the last round and a half.
Nothing against Johnny Fisher, I really like the guy. But he’s area level.
It’s not his fault that Eddie hypes the shit out of him.
I’d love to see Fisher become a top HW, But it ain’t gonna happen.
As for Allen, good luck to him . Same old story, if he’d have been dedicated etc. but hey, he is 100% honest about it.
I hope they both get what they deserve out of their careers. 2 sound blokes.

So at the weigh in , I thought Allen hadn’t taken it seriously enough. But this shows where Fisher is at. That’s no disrespect because I admire Fisher for even stepping in the ring.
As for Dave Allen, there is no more honest man in boxing. Especially about himself . Very refreshing.

That really was a sensational KO full respect to Allen. Once again setting himself up for another big shot. Might have to break down and get me a pair of the patterned skivvies too.
Dave Allen was really very honest. The promoters and TV commentators wanted a third bout but Dave said it would be better for Fisher to rebuild first as he would lose again and that would finish Johnny career. Dave is a friend of Johnny as is looking out for him.
Dave was also honest about his ability. He wants to stay at this level and fight more locally. Let him earn some money and entertain the fans.

both fighters seem like nice guys but neither should be near main event level. it was a sweet kayo though. towel was a bit late. eddie probably has a rematch clause for the trilogy. they should feed dave to moses. what's best for dave is probably a fight with usa's wba number ten deontae pettigrew
It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.
Putting Dave Allen in with Moses would be brutal and barbaric. Let Allen get some good matchups at his level.
There were 7000 people in attendance so they can both draw a good crowd.
