    Default Advice for repairing scratched games?

    Does anyone have any tips to offer for repairing a PS2 game that is scratched to pieces. Some kind of cheap home remedy?

    By the way, car wax? Who'd of thought. I'm going to have to keep that in mind.

    I would have said boiling water and buff it with Bilbo's mother *Ahem* ..A soft cloth..

    But i'll try the car wax in future :P

    I have a game that is notoriously known to have scratched disc issues. It would never play right on my original ps2. After my ps2 "broke", i got the newer slimmer one as a christmas gift to replace it. It played the game no problem. I dunno if the laser is supped up or what but it will read pretty much anything within reason.
