Default Hopkins: is 43 for Bernard too old? Or is he does he still got it?

Can he use his skill to frustrate Pavlik & workout a SD, or will Pavlik just be the busier man & show too much for Hopkins?

For me Hopkins needs to pack in. It was a shame to see an ATG pretending that he had been hit in the nuts just so he could get a 5 minute breather against Calzaghe.

As for Pavlik, I like the guy and I think he is an ever improving boxer with he world at his feet. He could well become the first man to KO Hopkins if B-Hop starts feeling lethargic again.

I think he can do it, yeah. Frustrate Pavlik to a SD is pretty much exactly what I do see him doing.

I think Pavlik is going to hurt Hopkins.

Hop needs to retire. His legacy is intact so he should hang up his gloves. The way he fights now is horrible to watch due to him being so defensive. He should have took it to Calzaghe after the knockdown. I respect the guy though.

Ive been pretty good in my recent picks, I'll have you know.

I would be surprised to see Hopkins get through this one, Hopkins usually gets crafty in the championship rounds and against Calzaghe was nowhere to be seen. His legs tire against high output fighter much quicker so he is less effective later on. I can see Pavlik wearing Hopkins down with the chase and begin to put on some hurt, or Hopkins will try and bide time again.

Hopkins whilst past his best is still a top level operator

I still feel he should rertire and enjoy life

Hopkins is past his best but can still perform at top level and is a problem for any fighter at 175.

Hopkins has a really good chance of beating Pavlik.

I think Pavlik is way overrated, simply becuz he is the only decent white middleweight out there & becuz he beat Taylor. America has always looked for the "great white hope" becuz that is a dying breed!

OK, let's get technical cuz you may not know fighting, but styles make fights & the man who beat the man means nothing and is invalid! a very uneducated statement
