Khan is ok but need to be patient and pick at the right time.. The way i see it he is rushing sometimes.. he benefitted big time from that pac sparring to boost and bring back his confidence.

To be honest i think Khan has great skills as a boxer... his chin just lets him down and i can't see him progressing to the top level because of it.

    shame really.

but saying all that, lewis overcame it so you never know

You do realize the huge punches Lewis took? Wasn't he only down the two times he was ko'ed? I think Amir Khan is very gifted, but like someone else on here said, he really needs to relax and not jump in so much, you see that amateur pedigree playing against him.

I also think Khan is very gifted as a boxer and can make it to the top.. I just think the media rushed him a little too much, along with his dream of being the youngest british champion since naseem etc.. But I think the hype and pressure the media put on him was a major contributing factor.. I mean, Hatton only started getting reknown worldwide in his 30 fights area... Khan has had what, 19 fights? (correct me if i'm wrong).

I also think he was paired with a average coach, no offense to the guy, and now that he has a great coach such as freddie things will improve. The only bad thing I think is that freddie will always be more concerned with Manny's career, I know I would if I was him. But who knows.. I think Khan has a bright future, I just hope things such as the media don't fuck it up for him.

as far as I remember Lewis was only down the two time he was sparked yes - Briggs had him in trouble too didn't he I think but not sure he touched down ??

Khan does have the skills yes but the way he fights will always leave him open (unlike Lewis) and against the top guys they will do him every time as has been said

Don't know about this but I certainly wouldn't put Lennox's chin in the Khan category. Just watch this

Khan will never be able to take the top mens shot's IMO. Lennox took some good ones.

I guess the same way people question Roy Jones's chin.

I thought Lennox Lewis was very good with the subtle little head movements. Not so much to make his opponent miss, but to lessen the impact of a blow.

Why do people question Lewis is chin it really wasnt that bad.He underestimated 2 fighters in McCall and Rahman and got ko'ed.His chin got tested against Briggs,Tua,Mercer and Klitchko and he never wwent down.

Anyway back on to the thread title it will bring Khan on training with the best in the world. If he can improve his defence and learn to deflect shots instread of taking them flush he can make it into world class not sure if he will be world champion tho.
