    Default Powerbreathe

I was wondering if anyone has a Powerbreathe. Would it be useful for a boxer?
Here is a link to the website.
The official POWERbreathe website. Hand-held inspiratory muscle trainer for anyone who breathes.

I works the inspiratory muscles meaning you can take breathe in more oxygen in one go.

It doesn't mention boxing on the website. It does say they tested it on some rugby players and the ones who have been using powerbreathe recovered from sprints 30% quicker. Is recovering from sprints the same sort of thing as recovering from throwing a combination.

It is worth about £50/ $75

    Is it worth the money?

I think it was a different one that Sharla got.

Yeah I did look at other ones Chris but I found a cheap powerbreathe on eBay.

I find it is actually hard work but you have to use it often to see results so I'd look for a bargain on eBay rather than paying full price if you think it'll take you a while to get into the habit of using it frequently and fitting it into your schedule (like me).

I do think it is worthwhile though so far. I can feel aerobically strong running but still find it is hard work on a lower setting so I doubt I'd 'grow out' of it too quickly!
