    Default Ruins

Hey guys, I went and saw some pretty cool ruins a few weekends ago.

These were built around 900 years ago by the Anasazi around the same time a volcano erupted which formed what is now known as Sunset Crater.

The first one we stopped at was the Wupatki Pueblo it was huge. People think that this was a marketplace as the have found evidence of animals that were native of south america

I thought it looked similar to the Grand Canyon in terms of the rocks. That is amazing, I really liked how Arizona looked whilst I was there for a day. That really looks awesome though, kind of thing I used to love seeing with my dad when I was a kid.

As much as I complain about the heat there really is some amazing stuff here. Now that I have the means, I plan on taking some little road trips as much as possible to check out the state.

If you hear a voice within you saying that I am not a painter, then by all means paint and that voice will be silenced.

Not to hijack the thread, but last summer I helped excavate an old First Nations (Native) village, the oldest part of which was estimated to be around 5,000 years old.
