Default Martirosyan vs Ouma on Jan 16

Decent crossroads fight. According to Ring Mag's site it's gonna be televised on FSN

Ouma has been inactive and even when he has had some fights the fire and more importantly the volume-punching just aren't there. Martirosyan should get a stoppage not by KO, but either towel or ref.

Yeah at this point in Ouma's career he's just on the downside, he doesn't bring the same energy he once used to. Before he fought Karmazin he was looked at as a future star in boxing. Matirosyan is high volume, awkward and should win this. However, I'm not at all sold on Matirosyan. Even though he has never lost, I'd say he's being moved along really really slow at this point.

For a minute there,I thought Ouma was going to be something special. He's all cashed out now...Vanes going scalp and name hunting in this one.Too fresh, straight and riding momentum for this version of Ouma. But I hope I'm wrong.

Just like it to be known that I already dislike Vanes and think he's overrated, so if I say it after he beats up Kassim it won't seem like sour grapes.

Sad the way Ouma's career went, he was matched tough early: Bunema, Toygonbaev, Marshall, Phillips, Lerma, Pappillon, Hernandez, Bojorquez, Candelo, Phillips again , Jantuah... it was all there waiting for him. Even after the Karmarzin loss he comeback with good wins over Rubio & Powell

I think he'll be a good test for Martirosyan at this stage but the youngster takes the nod

Agreed...I was once big on Ouma...even after he beat my Boy Verno Phillips I was a big Fan...The volume punching was something to marvel at...Could not cracj an egg but the work rate was more then impressive...Not sure what happened but he just slipped....

I see Ouma getting stopped for sure

I think moving up to face Taylor really did him in, he's looked very tentative since that fight.

Very well could be I mean from what I remember Ouma looked real small for that fight...He does not carry too much extra weight around on him so maybe the jump did hurt him...

Crazy thing is he did more then respectable against Taylor....

Yeah man, Taylor looked huge in that fight, and he's really not that big a guy. I thought the fight was closer than the cards reflected, but Taylor took it for sure. I would love to see the Ouma of old come out for just this one fight, he would have been a great ambassador for the sport, he's a really good guy and he's always gracious in victory and defeat.

Yeah for being the smaller man in that fight Ouma had Taylor backing up all night!

BIG Fight for Vanes against a veteran name.

    I think the youngster wins.

I too dislike Martirosyan. I can't stand him and the fukking Armenians that suck his dikk up here in near by Glendale. Fukk him and them. I don't think Ouma will win. But I hope he fukking proves me wrong

    Why?

I'm not sold yet on Vanes' chin. Other than that, I have no problem with him. He was in the same Olympic class as the Andre's and he is being moved pretty much on the same pace prior to the super six.

Didn't he fight two weeks ago or something?

So, you don't like Martirosyan because of his race? Why don't you like him?

He is dedicated to his craft. He works hard. And he's tough. He has some speed and movement. He was an United States Olympian.
He needs some development, but who doesn't at his stage. He is being groomed well too. He went to Houston to train with Ronnie Shields and now is trained by Freddie Roach.
