Romero vs. Mayol!!

Omar Nino Romero is getting set for his February 27th bout against Rodel Mayol. Mayol who is coming off an upset victory over Light Fly mainstay Edgar Sosa has had a checkered career of sweet victories and crushing defeats. Romero was robbed of his second victory over Viloria because he failed a post fight drug test, this was later proven to be a false positive, but the fight remained a NC.

i'm a big fan of nino romero and i think he's got the goods to beat that cheating bastard rodel mayol. used to be a lukewarm mayol fan until he decide to headbutt his way to a world title. i hope romero takes the title from this total loser (mayol) and gives him a good boxing lesson.

I've Mayol for quite some time because he strikes me as a total dick. He's the only guy genuinely competing with Carl Froch in the dislike stakes for me.

I think he beats Nino though, he's improved quite a lot as a fighter recently & no doubt another 'accidental' headbutt will play a part

Well Omar is no better then Mayol, because Omar tested positive after the rematch with Viloria.
Not a fan of either Omar or Mayol...

As for the fight I think if Omar can get in there and fights as dirty as Mayol and just fight fire with fire I think he walks away with a win.
