    Default Running Barefoot

I was running my normal 2 miles(on a treadmill), but I tried it barefoot because I heard it was better. I got big ass blisters. I normally run 2-3 miles with new balance running shoes(no blisters). I have been slowly increasing speed, and was wondering if no shoes is better in the long run. Will I build up callouses eventually and not get blisters?

There is no point in being barefoot.
Suppose that you saw your enemy and wanted to kick him; you would not be able to.
Suppose your enemy saw you and decided to stomp on your toes.

My only reason for trying it was I heard you are less likely to obtain running injuries that way. I'm not convinced so far.

You know, I was just kidding around. Maybe there's something to it?

There was an Etheopian marathon Runner won the 60 oylimpics barefoot, then after that won everything. So for the next 64 oylimpics one of the Big shoe companys, gave Him something like a million, to wear there shoes. He did and came 4th .

I've got something on this at home somewhere. I'll dig it up for you. It pretty much agrees with the joke Scrap made anyway.

Ideally I'd go run barefoot on the beach, but its too far a drive to have to do every other day.

Running bare foot up a beach is the fastest way to raise the arches of someone whos flat footed.
