Terrible idea. As soon as he faces a decent puncher he'll be dealing with yet another severe concussion. It's at middleweight too.

he's been gone for so long plus those kos just can't be good for his health. I also thought he wasn't able to make 160 anymore three years ago but now hell be able toHell probably fight a couple warm ups and win but like ya said the minute he fights a big puncher he's screwed most likely, hope he leaves the sport in good shape when he finally does was hoping he had called it quits for good.
I look forward to seeing it. I'm a fan of Taylor. Still, he should aim for a couple small fights and a big win-or-lose pay day.
This is NOT good.

Jermain Taylor vs. Roy Jones
Battle of Lacy's conquerors![]()
Man I like Taylor but this is BAD. I seriously dont want to see Taylor and Vivian Harris taking turns feeding one another apple sauce.
This has pugilistic dimentia written all over it.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
Bad idea, he's taken too many KO's in his last few fights. However i can see him fighting Pirog, or Jacobs so they can add a name to their resume.
Jermain come to uk and do prizefighter!!
Fight robin Reid
Ooh, I don't like this one bit. The guy had bleeding on the brain from his lask KO, I can understand the desire to come back, but the man was getting stopped brutally down the stretch far too frequently in the end. He's great for 10 rounders, but keep him away from 12 rounders, he fades horribly against anyone who can wait out his fast start.
There comes a point where I just don't want to see a fighter get hurt anymore. Jermain needs to stay retired, someone had better remind him of why he stopped fighting to begin with.
I think he could have a rubber match vs Pavlik if Kelly loses to Bute, but the odds of Taylor competing on a high level again are slim to none.
he was so hyped back in 2003 or so, did he ever really attain greatness? or fall a bit short?
