Why is everyone blaming the ref? Both fighters were in their corners and the ref called the fight on. They touched gloves - which Floyd obliged. Victor was the idiot that stood there and kept trying to hug mayweather. This is a fight. Ortiz did the same thing against Maidana after Maidana started kicking his ass. When a round started Ortiz when out to touch gloves with Maidana which they hadnt done in any previous round and got cracked. This is a fight not a match to see who is more apologetic and polite.

I am not a mayweather fan but I dont see what the controversy is about. When a ref wants the fighters to touch gloves he will grab one hand on each fighter and bring them together. He didnt do that. It was fight on.
