Hate to see Shane dragged through this as it's pretty obvious he's one of the better guys in boxing and hopefully he doesn't turn into a villain in the press but this is the second time in as many weeks we are getting steroids and Mosley in the same story. Certainly this one will get the press' attention as Victor Conte is a Government witness against Marion Jones in a steroid case, the guy behind this whole monster BALCO thing so he's a guy who has credibility despite being a sleez bag.

If Shane is telling the truth and he really did only unknowingly take steroids then all the power to him. However I'm just not sure how a pro athlete unknowingly takes, and writes a check for designer cream or designer pill and the thought that it might just be an undetectable steroid never crosses their mind. But if he can explain, then of course good for him. Just don't know if I want this to dominate the coverage of the fight that's all.

He's talking breeze he knew exactly what he was taking but he needs to clear his name hence why he needs to play dumb as though he was the victim. As well as being a really nice guy, Shane Mosely is also one smart guy or has a smart team behind him because he certainly doesn't need a team like Dwain Chambers who must have told Dwain to admit to it..look at all the shit he has been given by the British media just for being honest..poor sod..

Not sure who Dwain Chambers is but I know from the media's treatment of guys who have done or been suspected of steroids, whether they told the outright truth from the get go or lied, they are treated differently, and not for the better.

It's crazy what happened to Dwain, he's one of the only guys in history to admit it yet gets treated worse tha the lot. If you're popular and deny it, you will always have a loyal fan base that WANT to believe you no matter what.

It was pretty obvious he was taking steroids, one moment he was coming 3rd behind all the yanks. Then only after a few months he was getting under 10 seconds beating runners like Maurice Greene etc. Plus the amount of muscle mass he put on in such a short time as well.

I thought Mosley took a lie detector on all these steroid claims and he passed with flying colors ??
