    Default myspace vs. facebook

Which do you think is better, myspace.com or facebook.com?

Although I THINK myspace has been around longer, facebook seems to be growing in popularity. It would seem like facebook wouldn't be as popular because you can't edit and fix up your page like you can on myspace. But one thing I have noticed though, is that people can get friends a lot easier and a lot faster.

Another thing is that people that would not add me when I sent them a friend request on myspace, will add me on facebook.

So how does everyone on this site feel?

Myspace is crawling with pedophiles and or FBI and kids and people acting like kids and is too much flash for the predominantly 'add this function' user. It's one giant exploit.

Facebook is set up better to have it be uniquely for friends and people you know. Less flash, more practical. Facebook for the win!

Hmmm I've just left high school/started university so it is a good way of keeping relationships going or getting them started. Don't really have a preference, they both do what they are supposed to, although I hate some of the apps on facebook they just annoy me when people have hundreds of the bastards.

One thing I have noticed is the way americans seem to talk on myspace, This sheila added me from georgia so I accepted. Anyways I look at her page and she even types like shes fucking epileptic, for example "gurls" instead of girls and then further goes on to say "What I want to do with my life, at the moment is become a modle. Not a runway modle". Are people that illeducated over there? Final one is people typing like tHiS ThiNKinG iT iS thE bEsT tHiNG evEr iNveNtEd tO TyPE likE a WANKER. Does it impress me that the sentence you just typed took 3 times the normal time as you had to keep pressing down shift? No, it's the universal sign of being a dickhead. Other than that myspace and facebook are great

lol c'mon guys...facebook is good. I'm thinking you guys either have never tried it, or just don't have any friends to add.

Someone mentioned starting a facebook group for this site, I think it was clubber, and I wouldn't mind that but I'd prob. make a diff. account for it. I got like 250 people on my current facebook and are all my local classmates and people I've met in real life, or other boxers i've met. Most of the girls are highschool 15-18 and got pics of themselves in short shorts and lil tank tops and vids of them swinging their booties and singing and giggling.

Just too much of a buffet to put it out there to you old group of perverts...

i hated facebook more than myspace.. i haven't had either for years now, but with facebook, everyone from my high school ( i was in college at the time ) that i didn't ever talk to, nor wanted to talk to, starts friending me just because they wanted more friends, or something.. It was just all so fake and silly that i couldn't be a part of it anymore..

plus the shit that i had on my pages, as far as people leaving me comments/wall postings and my pictures, were not suitable if a job that i applied for happened to look me up..

already if you search my name on yahoo, you see me passed out drunk on my friends carpet.. i need to get rid of that one!

I vowed never to create an account on their but finally succomed to it the other day and must admit its not quite as bad as some people make out.

Though the whole "**** wants to be your friend" is really creepy

Probably because it hasn't been around long enough for the hackers to get into it.

i never had facebook so i cant say, but one thing i learned from having myspace is that it ruins relationships. half of the girls that i use to see don't talk to me no more they totally hate me now

People tend to get pissed off when not on someones top friends list. I must say I'm guilty of being hurt by being taken off a Top 8, although it didn't ruin any relationships.

    hahaha

    100% agree.

Fuckin comments and those Goddamn surveys and pic comments ruin relationships.

Myspace makes things easy in the beginning then inevitably fucks shit up.

Agree, used to use myspace only recently started facebook and prefer it, with myspace its mostly just for kids showing off how "cool" they are and most their "friends" are shite bands or someone theyve nnever met whereas facebook is just msotly people you actually know.

I got family all over Europe,Spain,Malta and loads of mates who live or have moved abroad so in theat respect it's a great way of keeping in touch without spending shitloads on phone bills.
My Older brother is a mad boxing fan (he used to take me to Mickey Duff's shows years ago at the Albert HAll in London when i was a kid-Pat Barret fights etc..... anyone?) and i regularly send him links to Saddos so he can keep up to date (and watch) on all the latest UK fights he misses purely because they ain't shown over their
Good place to get some pussy too
    VERY good!!!!!
Facebook has recently overtaken Myspace for members as it goes.
Why spend a fortune on phone bills
