    Default I Quit

Dont fight in this sport, dont be around this sport, the whole things fucking fixed.
And if you try to buck the fix, they will grind you under. Im sick of it, the whole sports a fucking joke.
Im sick and tired of the fleas when I lay down with dogs, fuck the entire sport until its actually a sport again.

And I can tell you why Im discharging my responsibilites to this sport and then Im retired.
I looked in my sons eyes when I tucked him to bed,and I compared it to all the conversations Ive had about fights recently.
I want my son to be able to say, "My Da had integrity, he was a man of his word, and his word was bond" long after Ive gone to wind
    Ive failed him otherwise

Your on my take care of list before I quit, but I looked in to my sons eyes when I tucked him in for bed.
He trusts and believes in me, that means I have to be worth that trust, and Im afraid if I stick around it much longer, I wont be.

    Shit happens TM...

I'm sure you knew about it before you got in. I'm sure you've known about it for sometime now. It's not like it happened suddenly and you didn't know anything about it.

Whether you bite the bullet and tough it out or the shits gonna eat you alive.

Especially in boxing you gotta have thick skin to make it. I myself have witnessed some loud shit when I've been aroung local promoters out here.
    Shit ain't right...

Ive had to lean heavily against my personal code of ethics, and the reason I did was to take care of the fighters. Because despite what most promoters seem to think,no fighters, no sport at all. Ive often waived fees to do it, which is why Im in my house/gym wearing a jacket right now. If I thieved and stole and lied like the rest of the scum that litter this sport, maybe I could crank the heat and get some better insulation. Thats the whole sport, you get your head caved in and someone else counts the money, but when it comes to your share, they suddenly cant count right anymore.
Ive said flat out no to alot of the slop that ruins this sport, but even if you keep yourself clean for this sport, its only, clean for this sport, not for real life.
There are things we take as givens in this sport, that if they happened in any other, thered be a federal investigation. You think the manager of the Rays last night said,"We're on their home turf here, dont let it go to the umpires or you cant win"?
If two people have the guts to beat seven kinds of hell out of each other for money, pay em fair, and make the whole thing fair. Ive done my damndest to help faciliitate that, but Ive been sleeping next to dogs too long, and my fleas are itching.
