    Default Did he quit?

Granted the cut was bad but did Zab just plain quit after he saw the fight slipping from him. I could understand him not seeing with blood in his eye but once it had been cleaned I can not understand how he could see 3 instead of 2 fingers. If he was dazed and confused then I could understand getting the number wrong.

Also was it me or did Zab hold and duck low more than usually.

Steve Bunce tried to correct the commentators by saying the doc didnt hold up 1 finger he held up two. That was wrong cuz Zab said three and the doc held up 3 . then the doc held up 2 and zab said 3 again.

    Bunce is an idiot

Yes, he quit, much like how Tyson quit against Holyfield. Zab had a nice little flury at the end of round 8 and it didn't even phase Clottey, that right there was the moment he knew he couldn't beat this guy, much like Tyson had that flurry to open round 3 and Holyfield just stood there and kept coming forward like a monster movie. That type of thing psychologically scares mentally fragile fighters and they immediately look for a way out.

WHile watching Zab tell the doctor "i cant see"; I had vision of the opportunistic Hasim Rahman also looking for a way out.

Glad its not just me and my Ghanian bias then.

In my opinion he thought he was not going to win so decided to try and get it on points. He failed.

It makes him an idiot because he was trying to correct someone but was wrong himself when correcting them . The doc held up 3 fingers, Commentary said it was 1 and Bunce said it was two

Anyway does it matter? The point im making is that Bunce is an idiot.

Zab is a vet and seen what we all seen coming. There's been alot of fighters taking the knee and not the prideful punishment lately, since the Oscar Diaz fight.

As it has been said earlier he probably believed he had a chance on the cards at that stage, at that point I had it a draw Zab winning first 3 and the 6th, 1 even and the rest to Clottey, but Clottey was def taking over. Judah knows himself and knew he had little left so took the get out of jail free card and take the risk on the cards at that stage knowing if the fight went further it would have gone out of his reach. He used his experience well, and used the surroundings to his advantage, not the most sporting or in the spirit of the game but you have to take advantage of situations in boxing I guess, Platov did it against Williams and the fight was called a n/c rather than him losing which was the way it was going, and it happens all the time. Fights have gone on with much worse cuts. Luckily for Clottey the gamble didn't pay off, and also I am not sure where they got the clash of heads from, there heads barely came near each other all night.

    Anyway right man won
